good Cabo resort for relaxation
Reviewed 1 day ago

We stayed at the Playa Grande in a junior suite. It was large enough for two persons. There was an ocean view and view of the grounds. Pools were very nice, especially the adult pool nearest the beach. Service was excellent. We chose all-inclusive for 3 days. Food was great especially in the Brigantine restaurant. Mexican fiesta night was the best I have seen in Mexico. Bartender Bernarbe was excellent in services and information. He mixed up two versions of a mojito for us that were delicious and refreshing. We would return to this resort.

An infinity pool, a great tiki bar and restaurant, what more?

We went to Playa Grande with friends who have a time-share. The view was incredible, the restaurants nearby were impeccable, and I had the most relaxing visit ever. We had a bit of time figuring out all of the elevators down, but the staff was wonderful.

Annual time share visit

I continue to marvel at the grand architectural layout of this place. It’s over 30 years old and I have been coming here for 15 years.
The service & food are very good - the price is a touch high for food & drinks. As an owner, I’m fairly happy with the overall maintenance- as most everything is works & the grounds are very well kept !
The biggest issue is that they are slow to update - finally got flat screens, programming is awful - but I guess they don’t expect you to stay in your room and watch TV LOL
As a taller and bigger guy I find all the furniture in the joint very uncomfortable and unpadded – with as much turnover as they have you would think they would update furniture a lot sooner ?
Still feeling overall very satisfied with being able to come once a year and enjoy the great weather , views and the culture .

Girls trip

This place was great for a quick girls trip. the staff was great. The on site dining was the only thing I didn’t like. Waited 2 1/2 hours for food in the restaurant. We finally asked they to box it up. The gym costs $11 per visit if you aren’t an owner. Everything on site was expensive so we left resort for almost everything.

We have had a fabulous week

We have had a fabulous week in Playa Grande Resort & Spa. The check in staff was helpful and got me the unit as requested. The rooms are clean and beautiful with a great ocean view. All of the people working in the resort were nice and helpful.
I really enjoyed the activities offered at the resort. I am thankful to the activity members: Natalie, Gabrielle, Jordan, Jordy & Humberto. I am looking forward to returning to the resort in the near future.
