How to Get There
This was our second trip here, but the first time he brought the kiddos. This time around there was a woman named Nohemi that provided a service of hair braiding, face and nail painting. My daughter loved it! She was phenomenal and had quite a lengthy line of little girls waiting to be pampered. Each day we sat by the pool we tried to stick with a server named Edwin because he was so fantastic. One day during lunch my daughter popped a balloon and a server, Mauricio, that wasn’t even waiting on us rushed over to make sure she was not hurt, and not only replaced the balloon, but created a creature for her. Highly recommend!
We stayed here for a wedding that I was in. They were not very accommodating for wedding guests. Our room was in the very last building. Even though we requested 1 king bed months before, we ended up with double twin beds. They were even trying to charge us extra to switch rooms to what we already paid for. They also would not move us closer to the bridal party, which made it very difficult for me since I had to run back and forth being in the wedding. Although there are 24/7 golf carts to take you and to your room, they never show up. At one point, our phones to call the front desk stopped working and they could not even hear us on the other end. The rooms are extremely outdated. They gave us just 1 towel upon arrival. Restaurants were okay. The grill at the pool bar and breakfast buffet was about the only decent thing. Watch out for the Brazilian steakhouse. They will tell you it is $30 for the entree and everything else is included (appetizers, salad, soup). However, it really is not. They charge for the sides and they don't tell you that. Overall, for as much as you spend, you're better off at another resort.
Property is 7 miles from downtown CSL. All units with spectacular ocean views and pool choices are exceptional. All Inclusive offered, but not mandatory for all 7 days which is nice. Units are very spacious, well appointed and kept very clean. Golf carts are used to get around very large cliff side property.
Very dissatisfied. Not a good value at all. Room key wasn't activated after check in , had to return to key activated. Took over 30 minutes to get served in a not busy restaurant. Food is mediocre and the staff throughout seemed very disinterested. if you ordered a drink at the pool they seemed annoyed. Even claimed they didn't have straws until you walked up and picked one up. Beautiful scenery and nice rooms but the staff, quality of food and availability of food makes it a non value.
We had a amazing family trip with our adult and toddler children. They had something for all of us to enjoy! Food was good and people were so helpful and friendly. Our room had an amazing view as sometimes we sat early mornings eating our room services from here. I recommend to try and pay cash for your stay!
