Very clean, superbly maintained resort. Service was typically phenomenal. Loved all the pools ... and a special shout out to Eunice and Yaz from the activities team for putting on some fun events, but not overwhelming you with too much. Just enough to motivate you to get up from your lounge chair ... do something fun, then get back to relaxing!

February 1 wedding

We started our wedding planning process with Gabriela in May of 2018. We have stayed with this brand in other destinations and felt confident that we would not be let down, in choosing to spend the most important day of our lives at the Grand Fiesta Americana. During our 9 month planning process, Gabriela was w/ us every step. We were not able to come down beforehand to plan anything but Gabriela was so patient and efficient as we sent her weekly and even daily emails with questions and requests. The time finally came to head to Cabo for our week-long celebration with 40 of our friends and family. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we were treated like royalty. Resort staff, from the front desk to the maid service were incredible. The service was never lacking. After meeting with Gabriela, face-to-face, we knew we had nothing to worry about. Gabriela’s careful attention to detail made our special day everything we could have hoped for and more. We cannot begin to thank her enough for every single thing she did. Our wedding was the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever seen (I’m biased, I know). I would recommend the Grand Fiesta Americana over and over, and I would absolutely recommend Gabriela. She was kind, professional, patient, efficient, detail oriented, and overall wonderful! We cannot wait to come back and celebrate as married couple! Thank you!

Stayed with HGV and Loved it!!

This was our first time at this property through Hilton Grand Vacations and it won't be our last! Two things really stood out: the staff and the property. First the staff, EVERYONE is friendly, helpful and welcoming. The staff really go out of their way to make your stay special. Carlos at the front desk was great! The property: it is beautiful and immaculate! The staff work tirelessly and it shows to make the property beautiful.

The property is very large which was a concern at first but no worries! Anytime you need to get somewhere and you don't want to walk, you can call for a golf cart. We chose to walk almost everywhere other than getting golf carts to the lobby. There are many restaurants, we tried several and our favorites were Peninsula for breakfast and Rosato for dinner. You can choose which days, if any, that you want to do all-inclusive which is wonderful. We did it one day and for us, just wasn't worth it. We tend to eat breakfast and lunch in our villa, preferring to maximize our time on the beach. On that note, I found a grocery delivery service which was great since we didn't have a car, just ordered on-line and it was delivered to our door (meals, snacks, alcohol)! They have a shuttle available from the resort to Cabo for $12/pp each way. Uber has started in Cabo about 5 months ago as well. The resort location is ideal, situated within a short ride to both Cabo and San Juan del Cabo. We went into downtown Cabo several nights for dinner. There is a night club open until 2 am but we did not utilize it.

There are multiple pools to choose from, children and adult pools. We did notice that guests had towels on their chairs very early and some of the pools and the beach had no available chairs by 7:30 am. We are early risers so this was not a problem for us and enjoy the early morning on the beach. There is waiter service around the pools and on the beach and the staff goes the extra mile. Israel served us well on the beach! There is limited swimming on the beach due to the current and the rocks. There is a designated swimming/snorkel area. We loved that saw whales swimming and breaching right from the beach and our balcony this time of year!

We enjoyed the live music around the fire pit most evenings and walking the grounds after dinner.

We stayed in a one-bedroom villa and it was great! It had a small kitchen with everything you could need. There was a dining table, spacious living room and balcony. The master suite was large with additional access to the balcony and 1 1/2 bathrooms. There are no washer and dryer in the units but are apparently nearby. There is twice daily maid service although they only seemed to come once a day for our last few days, this was not a problem for us. My only complaint was that our air conditioning stopped working several times. They were quick to respond and several attempts were made to repair it which were often temporary. Thankfully, we were able to open the doors on those nights which made it bearable.

We did enjoy massages at the spa as well. We heard that the spa and several restaurants are due for remodel, but found the spa to be very nice and well equipped.

This is a fabulous resort with wonderful staff and property. I would highly recommend it!

Crappy Service!

Service and taste of food could be better. We were constantly having to get our own drinks proolside. We have stayed at several Fiesta Americanas throughout Mexico and this one was definitely the worst one.

Love this place! We go twice a year and love it. The staff is so friendly. We had 2 of the best waiters while at the pool, Jaime & Jesus. They work so hard everyday. ¡Gracías para su bien trabaja, Jaime y Jesus!
