How to Get There
We had an ocean front 1 bedroom suite. It was very large over 1000 sq ft with a huge bathtub, marble shower and second bathroom. We had a private mini hot tub on our deck. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. Being on Medano beach is busy and sometimes noisy but with the windows closed it was quite. We enjoyed the beach front location. Visit the pool in the AM as it is shaded in the afternoon - which might be good if you burn easily! Just between the pool and the beach there is a sundeck with great sunbeds that you normally have to reserve and pay a price for at other resorts but they are free here. Kitchen was well equipped with 4 burners, microwave and fridge. The resort is quite small so it was easy to access our suite and we were able to eat our breakfasts and our lunches in our suite and save some money.
The hotel itself is GREAT! It’s in a perfect location walking distance to the beach. Beds are comfy. Food is ok. Service isn’t great. Let’s start off with with all the emails and calls you receive prior to arriving about a “presentation” . We come here to trelax and enjoy our time not go get bombarded by sales people. I was also very unhappy about the lack of service. I was trying to rent a Daybed by the beach and they said it’s by reservation only. I totally understand, however I was there for about 4 hours and there was plenty of empty beds. Lastly, they have a very strict policy about food outside the hotel. I asked about getting food from upstairs a restaurant in their hotel and they said they couldn’t get it but I could go get it myself. So I sent my husband to get us pizza for our toddler. As we were eating BRENDA came and said that I couldn’t eat it there. I explained to her what I asked prior to ordering and she went off to question all the servers in a very rude manner. I’m NEVER staying here again. So disappointing for such a beautiful hotel.
Have stayed at this resort every year for 5 years. The staff is very friendly. The lounge chairs on the beach are uncomfortable and some are very old. It’s hard to sit on them and read. The food and drinks on the beach are not as good as it used to be and there is not enough staff, so service is slow. Dirt and styrofoam from the construction gets into the hot tubs and pools. Don’t stay in a room near the construction. The location is great; it’s east to walk into town and there are good restaurants near by.
Let me start off by saying this resort is in the perfect location, walking distance from the marina and tons of restaurants not to mention the beach and ability to swim right out of the hotel.
we first came to Cabo Villas in 2014 when is was small and had that family owned feeling, then we came back in 2017 when we decided to become members. we just returned from our trip last night. I'm not going to mention the construction because we knew that was going on, what I am going to mention is the relentless timeshare selling that takes place, ALL WEEK, up until our very last day. We are already members and we don't want to be up sold they call it a "members meeting" which means shameless waste of my time. I work hard for my 1 week vacation each year and I don't want to sit and listen to why we should purchase into the new tower. No means No
Each time you pressure me the ore I don;t want to come back and I really am thinking about selling the membership.
Our room was ok, the ceiling fan was about to come off and was very loud all night. Our sheets didn't not look like they where new our first night. There was no coffee in the Gratitude Cafe. Most of the staff is nice and helpful but stay away from the used car salesman.
My advice, let people enjoy there vacations
When we booked, we were NOT told the property was under construction. The interior of the room was nice. No view (we paid for a view) and located within 100 feet of the construction project. Had to listen to pounding construction all day. The project is dirty and the pools run down. Staff is constantly trying to sell timeshares and calling the room.. DO NOT STAY HERE!
