How to Get There
I scheduled a makeup and eyelash appointment for my neice's wedding. I don't usually do this but there were going to be a lot of people I haven't seen in years and I wanted to look my best. I read some of the outstanding reviews for Erika and got a little nervous because I hadn't considered doing a pre-event practice session that many people wrote about. So I emailed Erika a recent photo and gave her some info on my special needs (67 years old with dry skin and rosacea). Then I got nervous thinking that was a foolish thing to do and I was afraid that might cancel on me. LOL.
Wow! She got right back to me and made me feel so much more comfortable and confident about the upcoming session. When we met on the day of the appointment we immediately connected. She did such a fabulous job on my makeup that I felt and looked 20 years younger! She is the best! I would highly recommend her to anyone staying at the hotel for a special event! So many friends and relatives complimented how good I looked and my date loved it! Honestly I never felt more beautiful!
BTW, I had my hair done also, in a partial updo with curls, that I NEVER could have done on my own. The hair dresser did a much better job than the trial runs that I had with my regular salon!
Working with the Viana hotel, namely Alicia Montefusco was a pleasure
The hotel was clean and all my guests enjoyed their stay
Staff was welcoming and friendly
Used the spa/salon where they were equally wonderful
Veronica Sedda-Tart, spa services coordinator was also great to deal with
We can’t wait to go back!!!
The fusion egg rolls they make in their restaurant are so good!!
I recommend the Viana Hotel and Spa wholeheartedly!!!
We spent the night of our rehearsal dinner and wedding night at Viana Hotel. I worked with Erin on reserving room blocks, and she was very responsive to my emails and on top of everything! She even upgraded our room for us when it was the week of, and it made such a huge difference. The customer service at the hotel is stellar, and we felt very taken care of as did all of our guests. Our room was clean, bed was comfy, and the night of our wedding they left a trail of rose pedals to the bed and a bottle of champagne next to the bed. It was a wonderful experience :)!
Stayed here one night for a business trip, I had a room on the Penthouse level, which is funny as it is actually the 4th floor and the same as any other floor. The room was very nice, it was huge, the bed was comfy with lots of pillows. The only issue I had was getting the temperature comfortable.
I would recommend this place as a business hotel.
We ate supper and breakfast as the restaurant see review Marco Polo
We stayed here a single night (Saturday) in conjunction with a wedding. This place bills itself as a major spa destination, but if aren't interested in that (as we weren't) then it basically becomes like any other chain hotel. The rooms were spacious and modern, if a bit overpriced given its location. Slightly annoying was the fact that the hotel mentioned possible shuttle service from the nearby LIRR station, but both arriving and departing the hotel, it happened to not be available, requiring us to take an Uber instead.
