In the heart of one of Italy’s most glamorous and culture-filled cities, just steps from the famous Duomo di Milano, sits NH Collection Milano President. This slick, central hotel more than lives up to the reputation of its prestigious address, boasting modern décor, Italian designer furnishings, spacious rooms and top-notch service. It also makes soaking up the city’s incredible sights a breeze, with most of the main attractions just a short stroll away.
When you’re not marveling at the breathtaking architecture, priceless works of art and chic street fashion, this hotel knows just how to help you relax and refuel. The exquisite Verziere Restaurant is on hand with an elegant dining room, delightful Milanese specialties and, of course, an extensive wine list. There’s also a lobby bar serving finely crafted cocktails, and a lighter menu if you’re keen to simply grab a snack before your next adventure. However you plan on spending your time in Milan, at least you know you’ll be doing it in style.
The Superior rooms are spacious and tranquil, boasting white and silver décor and sleek, contemporary furnishings. There are also plenty of comfort-inducing extras, like a pillow menu and a coffee machine. Each room also features a balcony or terrace and lovely views.
The hotel’s generous breakfast buffet includes an array of pastries, cold cuts, cheeses and fruit, as well as made-to-order hot dishes. The stylish Verziere Restaurant serves Mediterranean and international dishes in a suave setting, with designer furniture and an extensive wine list. End your evening on a high, with a unique cocktail at Bar Le Colonne, which also serves a light snack menu.
The hotel is set right in the heart of Milan, a mere nine-minute walk from what is perhaps the Italian city’s best-known attraction, the Duomo. This Gothic masterpiece took nearly six centuries to complete, and it’s a great place to kick off a walking tour (just as soon as you’ve indulged in an ultra-rich and typically Milanese hot chocolate). Milan is packed with museums and galleries, so there’s no shortage of choice. Start with the Pinacoteca di Brera, a 20-minute walk from the hotel, for its fantastic collection of Italian paintings, before exploring the works housed within the nearby Sforza Castle. You’ll also want to make time to view “The Last Supper,” Da Vinci’s famous masterpiece, in the refectory of the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie. With Milan being Italy’s fashion and design capital, it’s also worth treating your credit card to some retail adventures in the upmarket fashion district, quadrilatero della moda, where you’ll find every big-name designer under the sun.
How to Get There
We wanted to thank to the entire staff of NH Collection Milano President for such a great service, but I would like to give special thanks to Khrystina, who checked us in, giving such a good service and a very good attention by caring about everything and; Alessandro from the restaurant, who gave us a fantastic service during our lunch on our departure day; the cheff who cooked the amazing sandwiches we congratulate for.
In conclusion, It has been a good experience for us, and the main reason is because of you. Thanks!
I've visted a lot of hotels throughout my career both domestically and internationally. As an experienced businessman I know exactly what I am searching for. This was something out of the ordinary, never would I ever imagine that a man In the reception named Alfredo who care about his quest and could carry this many qualities. It was an honor for me to meet Alfredo and his team. Truly an experience of a lifetime and something I wont ever forget but always remember. He is a man in its truest sense and a Top-service talent. Do I recommend you? Of course I do, I dont even feel like there is a need of answering nor questioning this. All I can do at this particular moment in time is put my hands down and say that you're a blessing to hotel. You deserve all the success, well earned sir. I had to write this, it's been a fantastic visit at your Hotel!
Best regards, Joe Maatouk
I really cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Stopped here for a week and just wish it had been longer. Premium room was a good size with a "manly" shower and nice bath with enough room for 2 (came in very handy after a good session at the hotel gym and several hours sightseeing) and was kept spotless. Toiletries were of nice quality and bathrobe very snuggly. Can definitely recommend the room service menu, especially the pizza!! Fantastic location - right in the centre of things, lovely breakfast - great choice, amazing staff - everyone so friendly and helpful when it came to suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the centre. The complimentary chilled water and various sweets and biscuits in reception were a lovely touch and really missing the liquorice allsorts - some of the nicest I've ever had. Nice relaxing bar area and it was a lovely surprise on my birthday to receive prosecco and cake - perfect end to a perfect week. Already looking at dates for next year, cannot wait to go back.
Upon arriving before check-in time,,,front desk staff (Maria) was super friendly and helpful. This hotel is super clean, great location, and all the staff were great. From our room you could see the Cathedral and not hear a peep from outside. Breakfast was over abundant and choices for everyone. Construction in front of hotel is obviously not the hotels fault so walk around it, and enjoy.
Milan is an expensive city and finding a hotel that is well located for all the tourist opportunities that isn't outrageously expensive can be a challenge. The NH Collection is a 5 minute walk from the Duomo, close to everything you want to see and boasts large, comfortable beds, good sized bathrooms which are well appointed and a fantastic staff that are happy to help you find whatever you need. Breakfast is excellent and there is an "earlybird" option in the bar if you have a tour or meeting before the restaurant is open.
