How to Get There
Very nice hotel, within walking distance of all amenities. Very comfortable and clean. Lisbon is a beautiful city with lots of beautiful restaurants. Sightseeing is very good and definitely try a tuc tuc tour of the city is recommended.
Sweet little touches like slippers and robe, genuinely nice people not just their job. Great vibe. The attached restaurant is great too. Cod dish with spinach and peppers was amazing. These folks understand the importance of great customer service!
I love this hotel! I booked a superior room with balcony view on the street and I loved it! The room is beautiful , simple in a classy way, with three small balconies that were lovely. The room had a beautiful quote from Fernando Pessoa above the bed, TV, kettle with coffee and tea, and all bathroom amenities. I had asked them while booking if they could surprise me with a flower and you can’t imagine my happiness when they surprised me with a full bouquet, piece of chocolate cake, and a complementary wine bottle. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I had breakfast included in my rate served in the restaurant in the hotel which I enjoyed ; eggs , bacon, sausage, fresh cheeses, cereal , fruits, juices, pastries and croissants , desserts , and coffee/tea/lattes etc. the staff at the restaurant are also super friendly. The location of the hotel is brilliant close to the river, the square, surrounded by shopping streets and restaurants and supermarkets, close to chaido , close to the buses, very safe to walk around.
I also booked a tour to Sintra via them and the tour was brilliant too; pick up from and back to the hotel, we saw Sintra , cascais, stopped by the cape of the rock and hells mouth , our tour guide spoke great English so I highly recommend it. All in all
I found Hotel Lis great , will definitely stay here on my next trip to Lisbon 😊
We had a room with balcony & street view. Everything was clean. The employees were friendly.
The breakfast was okay - although there could be some variety for the guests staying longer than 3-5 days.
All in all - its highly to recommend. (Maybe you can book your room without breakfast when staying longer and search for a lovely small cafe instead - because of the central location - you will find many nice places!)
We stayed here the night before we were picking up a cruise. The service was excellent and the place was clean. However, the room was tiny. We had to lay our suitcases on the bed to have room to open them. Besides that, though, it was in an excellent location, just a block from the pedestrian-only street where we could take an evening stroll. There is a restaurant attached, and we were given 10% discount plus a free glass of port at the end of our meal. The next morning, we walked about 3 miles (with our luggage) to the cruise terminal. It was a lovely walk, and easy to find the terminal. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.
