How to Get There
Stayed at the hotel for 6 nights with two of my best friends and the location of the hotel makes it the number one choice for me.
The rooms although on the small side was well fitted and suited for my stay and was just the size you would expect for a modern and beautiful hotel fitted into a the structure of a historic building’s square footage.
The staff were very helpful especially Adelia we truly need a thousand of her in every hotel around the world, you made our visit a memorable one, thanks for allowing us to use the secret lift when the main lift was busy. Your insightful knowledge of the area was just amazing and we had a blast on our visit thanks in part to you and the location of the hotel.
Also not to forget Eli the barman, wonderful cocktails and service thanks also for the friendly service and delightful drinks.
I will definitely be visiting the Brown’s Central Hotel again for its location, amazing service, breakfast, bed, rain forest shower and all things great about the hotel that I forgot to mention.
Thanks for the lovely stay.
The hotel is surrounded by good eating places. Easy access to the beach if that is what you are looking for. Desk staff welcoming and provide helpful directions and suggestions for tour spots. For example, they advised walking thru the subway station to get to the Chiado area. Windows are very tight keeping out street music and noise. The bar and sitting area is a comfortable place to wind down and rest up after wandering up and down hills all day. Good wifi reception. The hotel is poorly lighted. If for atmosphere, there is too much. Stairwells have no handrails. In poor light it can be easy to miss a step. Bathroom is tiny (to enter the shower is a squeeze past the toilet), but fixtures are very nice. Room decor pleasant and upscale.
The hotel is a is a great place to recover from a busy day of exploring Lisbon.
I feel the most memorable part of my stay here were the quality of the staff and the way they worked to make sure that my stay here was perfect. Another, was how the lobby was designed and appointed in a way that was interesting and relaxing at the same time. It is a work of art. I experienced some of the most professional and entertaining staff. Andre, Adelia, Marianna, Neide, Fernanda, Claudia, Joanna, and all of the others that I had fun getting to know during my stay there. Their kindness and great attitudes made my stay here one I will never forget.
