Very helpful and kind. Check in was smooth. Give excellent recommendation for restaurants in Lisbon.
Room are very small. This is maybe the only downside of the hotel. But they are well equipped. You have a nespresso machine and a free wine bottle is waiting for you in the room. Bed are comfortable. Bathroom is very tiny, so no space for 2. However, the shower is very powerful and we really like it. They provide Shower ad Body gel as well as Body lotion which are above average for a 4-star hotel
Breakfast is very good, but maybe there is not a lot of variety, especially for the hot food. Breakfast is served is a causy dining room
In summary, it's an excellent hotel located in the heart of Lisbon. You can't go wrong with it. If space is an issue for you, you may need to book a superior room as the basic one is small. But it was not a problem for us.
Just leaving this superbly situated hotel. The staff gave excellent service couldn’t fault anything. Perfectly situated for exploring Lisbon. The streets are easy to navigate. The trams and busses are very frequent .
Very comfortable hotel in prime location, perfect for exploring the city. The real plus is the excellent, young Staff, full of energy & knowledge, polite at all times and extremely helpful with whatever queries you may have. A relaxing stay during our month stay in Portugal. Would not hesitate to return.
Centrally located in the heart of Baixa, Browns is a modern boutique hotel with a retro vibe décor. Basic rooms are not large and tight for two people and their luggage but very comfortably outfitted with modern bathrooms. For two people, it would be best to upgrade to a slightly bigger room to have more space to move around. Despite the location, rooms are soundproof and quiet with Bluetooth sound system and coffee/tea available. Beds and linens are high quality and very comfortable. Buffet breakfast is excellent and the bar area hip and fun. The staff was particularly attentive, helpful and friendly for my entire stay and when I returned at the end of my trip for a final night. Victor, Joanna at the front desk and Claudia in the restaurant really made me feel welcome along with the rest of the team. I would definitely choose Browns on my next trip to Lisbon.
Fabulous location in centre of cbd. Looked great. Welcoming and helpful staff. BUT trendy dark corridors feel claustrophobic and very difficult to read room numbers. Rooms with black walls feel small and dark. Impractical bathroom design without shelves to put toiletries etc. Not enough surface space in bedroom - too cluttered with large appliances, even though some of the appliances were useful. My room needed a special trick to unlock the door - easy enough once I knew, but shouldn't have been necessary.
