How to Get There
The hotel is a charming gem nestled in an otherwise crowded pedestrian area of the center of Lisbon. Beautifully decorated throughout mixing a traditional English feel with Portuguese color and whim. A most wonderful art collection fills the comfortable and cozy bar area. Books and magazines complete the cultural offering. Our room was small but impeccably done and the bed SO comfortable. A very copious and yummy breakfast is included in the reasonable price. A real find.
The taxi dropped us off around the corner as this hotel is located quite literally around the corner from the main square hence the great location. The staff ere great, very welcoming and eager to answer all and every questions that we raised. The breakfast was great and eggs were cooked to order, however the toaster was below par in that it took ages for the toast to crisp up ! but believe me that was the only thing that I could point out as a negative. The room itself was very clean and as a superior room everything that we expected it to be. The hallways are a bit dark however. The bar area before you get to the breakfast area is quite comfortable and we used it on a number of occasions, not least before we left. Overall great staff, great location and somewhere we would be happy to come back to.
Excellent location and great service. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel is near the main square, it was very quiet at night.
My only suggestion would be to put more light in the hallways and rooms as it can be quite dark but apart from that, excellent stay during our time in Lisbon.
Vintage hotel in the heart of Lisbon
Central location at the corner with Rua Augusta, in the middle between Praca Rossio and Praca do commercio. Perfect for shopping, restaurant and relaxing walking. Nice ,gentle and young smiling staff at the reception.Cozy and retro atmosphere in the hall, cool background music in a vintage mood.
Had a fantastic weekend stay at this hotel. The room was well styled and had great facilities. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city on foot. I took the hotel's free walking tour with Dalila and I highly recommend it!
The continental breakfast in the restaurant was tasty and the bar is perfect for unwinding at the end a busy day exploring.
Would definitely stay here again when back in Lisbon.
