And complementing the property’s health club are a tubing run and climbing wall, right outside your door.
Rooms and suites
Your abode is a comfortable base in between your excursions into the outdoors, complete with a cable TV with movie channels. Suites are larger than the King Club rooms and include a separate bedroom and living area (which has its own queen, pull-down bed, plus a double pull-down bed), as well as two full bathrooms, a dining area, balcony and well-equipped kitchen.
Start your day with a mountain buffet breakfast at Breakfast at Seasons, then enjoy ski-lodge fare at Black Diamond Pub, or a poolside cocktail in the warm weather. A kids’ menu is available, and there are apres-ski wine and cocktail specials for grown-ups in in winter. Private dining can be arranged for larger groups.
Viaggio Spa and Wellness Center is inspired by Europe and offers massages, facials and body therapies, as well as manis, pedis and other salon services. The presence of a well-appointed health club means that you can enjoy a brisk game of squash or racquetball, or a few laps in the pool, as well.
New Hampshire’s White Mountains are known for their skiing, hiking and biking terrain, which is just what you’ll like about staying at Mountain Club on Loon. There’s also a tubing course, plus a climbing wall; options in the larger region include zip lining in the treetops and going on a moose tour through the woods. Regional-theater shows and dinner-train outings can also be arranged.
