How to Get There
One of the most beautiful settings you can imagine, we just went for drinks on the outside terrace, just bask in the glorious sunshine and wonderful views that will take your breathe away, an amazing place and location in a wonderful medieval village, yes the drinks are very expensive €28 for a glass of champagne but well worth the price for the experience
The service and staff are Chateau Eza blow Chèvre d’Or out of the water. We even paid cash at Chevre d’Or and booked Eza with points so go figure! Both hotels have nice views in the common areas, but our room at Eza had a spectacular sea view (Chèvre d’Or was of the garden). The food and rooms at Eza were also superior - we had one meal on the restaurant terrace and they kept the kitchen open late for us, and then we had breakfast in our room on our stunning balcony. Chèvre d’Or, we could barely get our stressed out server’s attention - the wait staff tended to prioritize the throngs of non hotel guests who crowd the bar/restaurant. Oh also, Eza’s bathrooms are much more updated whereas at Chèvre d’Or, the bathroom has no door so it makes things awkward for couples.
Château Eza is spectacular. The views, the service, the restaurant - all of it was first class. It was a stay we will always remember. We highly recommend a stay at Château Eza and don’t miss drinks on their stunning terrace or dinner at their delicious restaurant.
Very romantic location, the only downside is rooms being too close , and doors not thick enough and outside noise is heard at night. Service is exciting, staff are absolutely lovely. Breakfast was average , more food variety would be great such as vegetables and perhaps more hot food.
Wonderful hotel -- staff was very polite and helpful. Room was spacious and bath was very nice. Great place to stay in Eze Village. Be prepared for a walk up the hill through Eze Village to get to Chateau Eza; however, once you arrive, it is worth it!
