How to Get There
A delightfully comfortable hotel. The suit we enjoyed provided panoramic views over the Pacific ocean. The breakfast service was excellent and the food plentiful and tasty. Following discussion with the concierge we were provided with a driver, at reasonable cost, who took us into what proved to be the beautiful city center and provided an intimate walk through the streets and squares.
I cannot begin to describe how phenomenal this place is. From the rooms to the staff to the views to the food it has been one of the best hotel experiences of my life.
I was unlucky enough to injure myself whilst in Lima and an incredible member of staff, Herwing, not only came to my room to take me to the hospital but he also stayed with me, translating as we went, calmed me down, and informed me that the hotel would incur the taxi fees when I asked for the nearest ATM.
The staff are what make a business and with people like him there I am not at all surprised this place is as amazing as it is.
Herwing - I hope you read this soon and know what a difference you made. JW Marriott should feel honoured to have you work with them.
Titanium here - I’m surprised to see the negative comments here about this hotel’s treatment of elites. I had a totally different experience, so maybe they’ve taken the feedback to heart. I had to arrive very late at night/in the early morning and called them a few times to make sure my traveling companion could check-in in advance of me. They could not have been more helpful and accommodating and everything went perfectly. Plus we were upgraded to an ocean view, which was appreciated (I do note there were other “higher grade”/non-suite rooms available that they could have put us in but whatever). I would definitely recommend.
