How to Get There
We went to Lima for a surprise 50th birthday trip for my wife. The trip was a huge success and the JW Marriott and staff helped make that possible. Not only is the hotel a first class facility with an A+ location but the staff made us feel so welcomed. When we told them we were staying at their facility and in Lima for the week and not going to Cusco or Machu Picchu, they were so proud we chose Lima as our special destination. They were kind enough to put a nice surprise in the room for her actual birthday and help make her feel special. The room was magnificant with stunning views of the cliffs and the Pacific. The service was top notch and they also have a great executive lounge with an attentive and eager to help staff.
Everything about my stay at the JW Lima went smoothly. Nice clean room, solid lounge, great view, helpful staff... The hotel checks one of my success boxes in being both a visitor and locals destination. The hotel was very happening Saturday evening with weddings and parties for locals with no negative impact on guests. If they can attract locals they're doing something very right.
Beautiful hotel overlooking the Pacific. Extraordinary gym and close to many fabulous dining establishments. Our favorite breakfast though is right in the hotel thanks to the exquisite service and kindness from the lovely staff, especially the bright smiling Yhanell.
The hotel is wonderful. A great neighborhood with a large underground shopping center opposite which has several good restaurants. Our room was large, comfortable and one of the best beds I have ever slept in. Our view of the Pacific Ocean was fabulous.
Loved, loved this hotel. It was a great solo hotel, it was active with nice open spaces to sit around, music in the lobby, and everything was of a high quality. If you are a tourist, I think this is an excellent location that is very central.
