Lovely boutique hotel

Nothing negative, met the owner while sitting by the top floor pool while working online. Was invited to join in private festivities for his wife's birthday. Easy to see why this guy is getting it right for this hotel. 10/10

One menu throughout the hotel

It was my first trip to Lebanon and when we arrived late at night, I thought we were down some sleazy back-alley.... quite scary. Nowhere for the airport taxi to drop us off. The next day, the view from the suite was not great (see attached photographs). We ordered room service for breakfast. Pretty much bread, cheese and ham - the same as we had the night before for supper before bed. Nice big room. Lots of empty space in the suite. Bed was comfortable. Two very tiny, metal balconies off the two windows. The rooftop was nice, but I expected it to be a lot bigger. It looked bigger on their website. More like a hot tub than a swimming pool. Having walked "on the other side of the highway" we would have actually stayed on the other side... this was just a little bit out of the way, and by all accounts on a back street Karaoke type neighborhood. That said - the staff were OK...

Don"t book unless 100% Sure!!!!!

Our travel agent discovered this hotel for us and booked. We called less than two hours later to amend our reservation to 5 days instead of 7. We were told that was impossible.YIkes! Even the airlines give you 24 hours! And this was 2 months out. Ridiculous. We arrived and found the hotel very nice, perfectly located. It was easy to walk to great restaurants and the ocean. The room is large and clean. Our ocean view was a tiny peak to the sea. So many reviews talk about the fabulous breakfast. It is wonderful but the exact same every day. And beware, it is an extra charge which is very unusual for hotels in Beirut. The staff is fine and accommodating. The best part of the hotel is the location and the reason to stay here!

Best hotel in Beirut, best service in the world!

Where do I begin with this exceptional hotel? Beautiful hotel and rooms, very chic, immaculately clean, and pretty much the best location you can get in Beirut in walking distance to everything and a stunning rooftop to top it off!

Most importantly, and what truly sets this hotel a part from this rest is the service, best demonstrated by Ali K, the Rooms Division Manager, who provides incredible and exceptional service - the best in the world in my opinion! I travel regularly for work (7 months out of the year) and have visited over 75 countries, and rarely if ever will you find as much kindness, hospitality and care as in Ali and his staff at the front.

I was in a very difficult situation with a lost passport, and had to cancel my departing flight. Ali went out of his way to assist me in contacting various ministries and ultimately helping me get my passport back. He made what would have been a nightmare scenario completely manageable - and was genuinely concerned and incredibly helpful. Despite pestering the front desk with requests for help and assistance a dozen times in one day, Ali was endlessly patient and most kind. I truly felt like he treated me like family!

Thank you to Ali! He clearly knows how to provide the best level of service I have ever encountered and is exceedingly skilled at running the hotel and managing the staff. He sets a very high standard!!!

I have visited Beirut many times (4 times only in the past year) and stayed in many hotels and airbnbs in many areas of the city. This was my first time at O Monot, but it will certainly not be my last - I can't imagine staying anywhere else after the warmth, hospitality and care shown to me by Ali and his staff! I feel like I have a second home in Beirut now. A million thanks to him!

Despite staying in hundreds of hotels in dozens of countries over the last few years with many great (and horrible) experiences worthy fo review - my experience with O Monot in general and Ali in particular was so distinctly great it has compelled me to write my first review ever.

Excellent welcome and service overall
Good breakfast but limited menu for the restaurant (even if of good quality)
Very good location close to everything
