We arrived to check in and met a poe faced woman
Reviewed 1 week ago

Instead of welcoming us to Rome and the hotel, she insisted I had booked the same room twice for the same night and would have to pay for both. I said this had been done by expedia and she said it had happened before. So what did she offer to do to help. Nothing. So I had to ring expedia USA at my own expense to try to sort this out. No news yet on that having been channeled through various people.

Great Hotel

Good hotel and close to the train station. Big room with good bathroom. Comfortable bed but unfortunately terrible pillows- small and hard. Perfectly adequate breakfast. Lovely, polite service. Overall - recommended.

Amazing !

The hotel is really nice and so beautiful ! The restaurant is also a good place with high class people and food ! Just the room a little bit noisy but i'm sure that if we asked to change the hotel would accept.

Good Property, Great location, Basic Breakfast & POOR / miserly housekeeping.

We are a family (2 adults and 1 child) who stayed at UNA hotels for 4 nights. We stayed in a suite / superior room (not sure what they call it). Room was very neat and spacious with one bed and a sofa bed to accommodate 3 of us. It was well equiped with televisions (one in each room) safe, kettle with tea/coffe, hair dryer, toiletries. Mini bar was included (free). So it defitnely feels great when you enter your room. However the whole experience was ruined with the poor housekeeping! simple things like tea bags are not replaced when used. There are two kinds of tea, we used one of it, next day we noticed just because there was some other tea they did not refill with what we prefered. Same with brown sugar, just because white sugar was there, brown wasnt refilled. On requesting they got us the refill and next day again the same thing. The hand cream given was awesome but it was never refilled in 4 days. Even though mini bar is free, because first 3 days my child had the chips, last day they did not bother leave us with a chips pack. And hence i use the word miserly! If you say its included make sure its always refilled and replaced at least once everyday (of course when used). It was annoying. Room cleaning was name sake. On checkout when we tried telling them, asking for tea packs every morning wasnt a pleasant experience for us, we were said tea is refilled only once a day, if you get one in the morning they wont refill it. My point is, if you do not refill it today i will have to ask it next morning. I hope you understand a pack of tea to ruin your guests overall expereince. Breakfast is basic (no live stations) yet complete with scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, breads, some fruits, some bakes and tea coffee. Staff at the restaurant are very good. Eating the same thing everyday got really boring, so if you are staying here longer and do cannot eat the same thing everyday you must look at breakfast options around the hotel.
Hotel is placed in a great location, right across the termini and easy access to all possible sights. All the hop on and hop off bus passes can be bought outside termini (best to avoid Green line buses). Food options around the hotel is great. Ristorante Imperium (first on your right side when you come out of the hotel) is a very good and friendly place to try out.
So, if the housekeeping gets better, this is a great place to be.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Close to train station. Breakfast was very nice and the hotel packed us a breakfast to go on the day we had early tour. Room was large and very comfortable. Love the fact you can get a pillow to your liking. Just call the desk.
