Wonderful location and great rooms
Reviewed 5 days ago

The rooms were fantastic (although smallish but understandable). The bathroom was great and the hotel itself was beautiful. We didn't eat or drink at the hotel but we did have an issue on our final day when tallying up the bill. It seems someone signed off on a drink bill under our name and then the staff wanted to bill us despite the signature on the bill was not mine or my partners. They even looked at our passport to verify it was not us and we were made to feel guilty. They should ask for a name AND room number with signature to verify that details are correct to stop issues such as this occurring by dishonest people.

We had such a pleasant experience in Rome. First hotel were very professional in handling our situation/incident. Due to a sick guest, our room wasnt ready and due to unavailability of the rooms they shifted us to another beautiful hotel “vilon hotel”. Danielo, who is the GM in first hotel, is very professional and really took care of the situation and handled the issue instantly! Thank you first roma for the excellent staff and amazing level of professionalism! Thumbs up!!
Meriem Faouzi, guest experience manager, also helped us in organizing our tour/trip for the day and was extremely helpful.

As for the hotel, the location is great and is a walking distance from the city and the shops. Spanish steps was also close to the premise.
On one note we booked a junior suite, because of the issue with one of the guests they gave us a suite, which was very spacious, luxurious, and comfortable.
I would definitely go back to the hotel and amazing staff!
Unfortunately we didnt have time to try their restaurant as it is known for being one of the best.
What i can say is that we will definitely come back again!!
Great hotel, team, and staff

Some issues

New but has some issues. They have a rooftop bar but it is always used for an outside event and not available for guests. During our 3 day stay there were 2 private events and their dinner use. When we did sit there we felt like intruders.

Love this hotel!

Great hotel in the perfect location. Service is very attentive. Rooftop bar has a beautiful view and makes for a great starting point to the night. Easily walk-able to shops, historic sites and restaurants. Check out Da Pietro for dinner.
