How to Get There
My daughter and I are on a tour of Italy as a birthday celebration for us both. Hotel is centrally located with excellent restaurants within walking distance. The service is superb! The rooms are nice. Excellent choice!
We have stayed in this hotel 3 times now ,twice tjis year already.
The hotel is located close to all the major sights providing you enjoy walking.
You need to walk as you see loads more than either on a bus or taxi.
We stayed for four nights on both occasions. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I even got a bottle of bubbly as the day we checked in was my birthday.
For those that don't walk or don't have the time the metro is close by and bus stops are just around the corner.
Hard rock cafe is just down the street.
All in all a great hotel and I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Rome now.
We have been 7 times now and this is the best all round hotel we have stayed in.
Looking to go back in November.
I hope this review helps.
Great location. Nicely appointed room. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Good variety for the breakfast buffet. Awesome views from the rooftop terrace. We ate dinner one night, and found the food good, the service great, but the experience overpriced. We could not experience a good view for dinner, and don’t care to spend over 100 euros for dinner with a large screen tv and World Cup football as the only available view. Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel. The restaurant was not impressive, however. Because of the location, we would choose the Savoy again.
My wife and I stayed here in July 2018 for a short city break. This hotel is in a great location with man good restaurants and bars near by. You are also about 10 min walk from Spanish Steps and trevi fountain. They upgraded us to a contemporary room which was clean and had an amazing shower.
Whats more is the hotel give you a 'Handy' which is basically a mobile phone you can use fre of charge for all your calls, as a map and internet access. A really nice touch.
Hotel is well located. Room was well sized and clean. Bathroom could use a refresh but for the price, no complaints.
The breakfast buffet was nauseating - not really sure that anything was actually fit for human consumption. Probably the worst I've ever seen. We walked out.
If not for the breakfast buffet - I would have given this 5 stars.
Otherwise, the hotel staff was helpful and friendly. I'd stay again, but totally avoid that breakfast buffet.
