Fabulous Dinner and Service in this Exceptional Hotel
Reviewed 5 days ago

We booked dinner in the beautiful, stylish garden restaurant in this fantastic hotel. The setting was exceptional as was the service, the food, the wine and the general ambiance. Frequented by the rich and famous this gorgeous but understated hotel with it's marble floors, discreet and attentive staff is an experience not to be missed. Your wounded wallet will mend!!

Hotel de Russie indeed has a great outdoor garden area. However, be weary when you book, as whilst we were there a wedding reception was held in these gardens. Unfortunately the music and noise continued until after midnight. I believe this hotel is a popular wedding venue.
We did let the hotel know we were “ not impressed “. Not the wedding peoples fault by no means, but surely the hotel needs to take into consideration the hotel paying guests. You don’t pay top money to be kept up all night!
We were also very disappointed with the accommodation- as we expected more than having a bed and a bathroom for “an executive type room” paid for. The best thing about Hotel De Russie is the maître d'hôtel called, MARIO who attended to all our needs at breakfast. He’s worth bragging about💫

As I checked into the Hotel , I realized I am in an Iconic Rome Luxury Hotel. You check in at the Concierge staff welcomed me as they recognized the request I did earlier in the month . I booked a corner Jr Suite , which its decor was lovely and you could never go wrong with the marble baths and deep soaking tub. The garden was my highlight for this hotel , I was there for Breakfast , lunch and met my family for drinks. Its like having a magical garden outside your room . A true Roman experience

This is not the first time this hotel disappoints me!

I checked in from Hong Kong, arriving early Sunday morning so I wanted to take a shower immediately. My secretary had tried to contact them several times to warn them of this and I finally got an answer as I was about to board the plane. Could be done, but I had to pay a full additional day (not half day as is the "modern way".

The second disappointment came when I learned that I has a room facing the side alley and not the garden. "Very sorry", I was told, even though I have stayed in this hotel for many years.

The hotel is conveniently located and has well-trained, kind, employees.

The reason I come back over and over is the hotel grounds. They are so relaxing and besutiful! A real treat!

My biggest negative point: the very poor noise insulation. Someone in the corridor talking will feel as.if he is in your room!
