- Free WiFi works well
Art lovers have a lot to look forward to at this rather hip nine-room guesthouse, which is situated on the second floor of a 17th-century building in the Eternal City. And the location’s not bad either; smack bang in the heart of Rione Ponte – the historic district that’s home to an eclectic mix of trendy bars and cafés, upscale restaurants, and one-of-a-kind boutiques.
Opened in 2014, this little place has created a big buzz; mostly for its intimate set up and contemporary-cool styling. All of the guest rooms assure sleek décor, comfortable beds, flatscreen TVs with satellite channels, and lovely en-suite bathrooms with NUXE toiletries. And then, of course, there’s the rotating collection of art pieces proudly displayed on the walls.
While there’s no restaurant, you can enjoy sweet Italian-style breakfasts in the hotel’s living room each morning – or order straight to your room if you don’t fancy getting out of bed. Also worthy of your attention is the reading room that’s kitted out with a PC and printer, and the on-site Spazio Arte gallery that showcases original works by emerging modern artists and students.
How to Get There
Stayed in the Junior Suite for two nights and really wish it had been for longer. The room was immaculate, bed comfy and no noise whatsoever (great after 32+ hrs of travelling). The staff went out of their way to help with any questions and make suggestions about places to eat, general tourist queries,etc.. This place will definitely be top of my list when next in Rome.
Laura, Silvia and staff were so accommodating even before arrival. We felt welcomed before we entered the door and were not disappointed when we arrived. The room was surprisingly spacious for two people and the bathroom was well-equipped and efficient for American standards. The breakfast was delightful and the easy navigation being right outside of a taxi stand made it a great introduction for Rome. We highly recommend this beautiful location to any traveler of any nation!
Our previous exprience in Rome was okay but this time around we had recommendation to stay at Relais Rione Point. This property will not will disappoint. Rooms are extermly clean and comfortable. The attention to detail by the staff was amazing as well as the sinple daily breakfast. The property is withing walking distance of great shops and resturants. Beautiful views of the Vatican over the Tiber is within a few minutes walk. I highly recommend and plan to return soon!
The room was what not we expected. It was tiny! N the lift is hard to access. We had to carry our luggage’s for 3 staircases. Location wise it’s good. Only 5 mins walk to piazza Navona. The staff was nice. The breakfast had very little options. Wifi is very slow.
Excellent location, at most 30mins walk to every major attraction. Pleasant staff, lucky enough to get upgraded on arrival. Understand they give preference for upgrades to those who book direct. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was a bit lacking in options however probably the best cleaning of our whole trip, room felt like new everyday. Price good for Rome. While location is great it is a bit hard to find (non descript door right next to the cafe downstairs, keep an eye out for it marked on level 2 on the door directory, google is generally in the right area). Similarly the prime location means parking difficult, in a ZTL so don't drive directly. Hotel will help with parking nearby but as it's town it will be expensive (25 euros a day for the closest one) and a bit of a walk with luggage. All in all, Recommended!
