How to Get There
Fantastic experience at the Palazzo Manfredi. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Hotel helped sort out guided tours of the city. We had booked a room with a view of the Colosseum and were very pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a bigger room with an ever better view on the top floor. The restaurant on the roof top is top notch. Generally this hotel has unbeatable views and is perfectly located. Not the quietest rooms - but then again you're literally yards away from one of the most visited tourist sites in the world! Could not have enjoyed our stay more. Thank you to the entire team for our wonderful stay.
Small rooms: clean with modern decor. Bed a little uncomfortable and noisy.
Staff: fantastic. Nice and attentive.
Location: our window looked directly out to the Colosseum. Easy walking distance to many of the historical sites and neighborhood dining.
We stayed here two nights while in Rome for our anniversary. They asked if we would like car service from the airport and one of the options that you could pay for was a Phantom Rolls Royce. We opted for the Rolls and were not disappointed.
We were welcomed with a bottle of champagne in our room. They also had a lovely espresso machine in the room. The room was on the smaller side, but was comfortable.
The bathroom had great amenities and a nice tub that you could soak in.
The hotel is across the street from the Coliseum and a 15 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain.
The service was excellent at the hotel, and the complimentary breakfast on their deck overlooking the Coliseum was outstanding.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
Despite the perfect location, our stay could have been better, considering their price.
The rooms are well decorated but the bed is terrible: too soft and squeaky! Worst 3 nights of sleep during the whole trip.
We also had some problems with the parking: we left our rental car under their responsibility during the first night to find it crashed and scratched. We documented everything but the hotel still wanted to charge us for €60. :(
This hotel is delightful! My wife and I spent four nights here, and it was a great place to begin our three week stay in Italy and Spain. It is convenient to many of the ancient sites of Rome, and the view from the hotel--looking out at the Colosseum--is splendid. the staff is very attentive and they were always ready to help with anything we needed. The terrace restaurant, Aroma, has Michelin recognition, which is very well deserved. This hotel is well suited for families, but it is especially romantic for couples.
