How to Get There
The hotel is located right next to the main train station in Rome and at the same time it is a major transport hub for local metro and buses. To get to the sights is a bit of a walking distance (about 30-45 min depending on sight), so it is not that centrally located for explorers. However the buses and metro get you quickly from the hotel/Termini to the sights (bus #64 and 40). To get to/from airport is very easy with the Leonardo Express. The area has quite a few restaurants and within the train station many cafes and easy bites.
The hotel is fairly modern and well maintained. Rooms have a good size, bathrooms very spacious which is nice. Rooms are clean and in good order. Reception staff is friendly and helpful. Considering everything the hotel offers very good value for money, location depends on ones preference.
Overall we had a very good stay there.
Nothing short of outstanding. Excellent location by Termini Station. Beautiful building. Classy decoration. Beautiful rooms with the most comfortable bed and pillows ever. Wish I could have taken the pillows home! Bathroom reasonable size with everything you need. City view room. Double-glazing keeps out all noise from the train station.
Service was exceptional.
Highly recommended and well-priced given the top class quality of everything.
A very special stay.
Grazie! Grazie! Grazie!
This would be the most luxurious hotel we stayed during our whole trip around Italy.
The room was a very good size with a nice bathroom.
It was very clean and quiet. Our room faced the Roma Termini but I did not hear anything from outside. We LOVED it!
This hotel is very ideal if you will be doing a lot of travelling via train.
Fair Warning, if you are taking the train to go to the hotel, don't go to Via Marsala. That's the back of the hotel and there is no entrance, so you have to walk around to get to the front. The entrance is in front of the bus stations (Piazza Dei Cinquecento), that's the only gate to get into the hotel.
The hotel is very modern clean and nice.
In terms of places to eat, you need to walk further out to get good food, a lot of nearby places to eat serve typical train station food and touristy.
Buffet breakfast was sufficient.
From first entering this hotel then leaving 4 days later was constant shear perfection.
We were greeted by Andrea at the reception. A total professional, well dressed and full of local knowledge.
We had a superior room. Very spacious, great shower, very clean and very quiet. I've never said this before about any hotel I have ever stayed in but (wait for it) the bed. The bed was a king size and so very comfortable and the pillows were just unexpected perfection. At this point I hate to admit to it but on my departure I was tempted for the pillow to accidentally slip into my suit case and if my case was big enough the bed would of been in there too. Needless to say neither happened but I've never slept so well for years.
Onto a more serious note, the Breakfast. Unbelievably wooowwwwww. So much choice. 8 different breads for toast, sliced fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, sliced meats, cheeses different croissants, various teas and coffees, 6 different types of milks etc etc all fresh too, oh yes I nearly forgot, you could ask for any thing cooked to order, I had fried eggs and Bacon cooked to order and I also noticed omelettes coming out. Have you got the message yet?
After our journeys around the city and our return back to the hotel later in the day there were these amazing mallow strawberry sweets, iced lime fresh minted water and iced water also infused with fresh oranges of which I thought was a nice touch.
As we sadly departed the lady at reception (I didn't get her name) but she certainly kept up with the reception professional standard.
The hotel is central, close to the train station (you don't hear any noise or trains from the station). It's smart clean and has a great feel to it.
Would I stay again I hear you ask? Absolutely dam right I would. Be prepared to be amazed
