How to Get There
We had the best of times staying at Raphael. The staff helped us in so many ways and went above and beyond the call of duty to help us receive our personal belongings that we forgot at a different hotel.
Amazing hotel! Exceeded my expectations!! The work of art in the hotel was exceptional!!! Service was at top level! Free drinks in lobby was great and innovative! Facilities was upto excellent standards! Breakfast was very good! Special thanks to all staff specially Giovanni and Giuseppe!!! Highly recommended and definitely coming back
Very disappointed with quality of the room, barely 3stars at most. Cheap damaged furniture and outdated smelly bathroom, not what one would expect of Château&Relais brand. Will never return there. When staff took us to the room keys did not work, never mind she used her key but never offered to bring new keys that work. Bathroom equipped with soap dispensers - more like 3star hotels to save usage, no bath flannel only shower cap and cotton buds, again - not what one expects when it’s written 5* on the hotel and priced at that level. Restaurant - quality of the food was very good and staff was friendly, but decor with chip wood cupboards looks cheap, office looking like chairs ... wouldn’t be my choice of charm. Food tasted delicious no question, but because of lacking warmth I wouldn’t return. Sad but I hope the owners will work on updating the interior on the “Deluxe” room I stayed.
We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights during our visit to Rome. We really appreciate its superb location, which made it so easy to reach the major attractions. Aside from this, the service is very good too. Our room is very spacious and nicely maintained daily . There is a small gym for some workout before your daily outabout. My husband and I also enjoyed our breakfasts at the hotel, simply good and comfortable.
Front desk staff are very helpful, they do speak English if you are worried about any language barrier. They also provide concierge service if you require, obviously they would give you an idea what time to go where as those information is not always accurate on line according to our experiences. You certainly can have some good rest at night after your walkabouts in the town. I recommend it for families or couples or a short business trip if you land in the area.
We enjoyed our stay in the hotel and would like to go back again if we visit the town again in future.
Hotel Raphael is rated 5 stars Luxury, but should only be a 3 stars.
Location next to Piazza Navona makes it very convenient and their rooftop bar is great for sunset, but if you want to have a good sleep and experience 5 stars luxury, don't go there.
We had room 111, a disabled room with strong smell, outdated deco, one bed that was actually 2 single beds, dirt and hair from previous guests. we just wanted to leave although we only booked for one night.
