A tranquil Oasis in the heart of Historic Rome

After a busy day sightseeing, this hotel was a peaceful haven to return to. The room was spacious and it overlooked the beautiful courtyard known as 'The Garden of Eden' which is where a fantastic breakfast is served during the summer. Every member of staff we encountered was polite and friendly -from the reception to the breakfast room to the maids who cleaned our room. The area is fabulous; you can walk into characteristic Trastevere at night and Piazza Navona is an easy ten minute walk away. This hotel made our visit to Rome very special and we will return soon.

A little gem in the heart of Rome

We loved our stay at Ponto Sisto. The staff are very welcoming, the hotel is really lovely and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Showers and beds were great. I actually took ill while I was in Rome and they were great organising a doctor to visit me at the hotel. We found the location really handy and it was a very central base to all the areas that we walked to.

Excellent Hotel!

We was visited Hotel Ponte Sisto at first time, but when we come back to Rome, we will stay just in this hotel. Best location. Friendly personal. Cozy room. Best view from windows. Excellent breakfast at restaurant in the cozy courtyard

Great location

I stayed at the Hotel Ponte Sisto in June 2019. The location is just perfect; however, I was disappointed in the hotel overall. The garden and terrace were just beautiful, like in the pictures online. But the front desk staff was not so welcoming when I arrived; they barely broke a smile. The breakfast, which was included, was not worthy of a 4 star hotel. Campo De' Fiori is 5 minutes away and was full of beautiful, ripe fruit. The fruit at the hotel looked like it had come out of a can. The juice was not fresh and the waiters were minimally pleasant. Breakfast is not worth eating here, in my opinion. The best staff were up on the terrace, and the maids were very helpful when the AC was dripping water all over our floor. The room was adequate. The bathroom could use an upgrade. If you want a great location, this hotel will do. If you're looking for a true 4 star hotel experience, this is not the hotel for you.
