Very Good Value For Money

We stayed here for four nights. Great location for the Termini and all points in the city. Spotlessly clean room and en-suite. We enjoyed the soft drinks in the fridge which were replenished daily. Some of the power points did not work well with charging devices and the provision of USB points would be good. The staff were excellent, including reception, bell boys and breakfast staff. All had big welcoming smiles and were delighted to help with our requirements. Special thanks to Sherwin - a real personality with a great sense of humour. Also to Keala and her colleagues in the breakfast room for proving such an excellent service. Last but not least to Doreen and Emilio for their competent and very pleasant service on reception. If you are visiting Rome then this is the place to stay.

A Nice Stay in Rome
Kate K

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Diocleziano on the last night of our honeymoon a few weeks ago. We enjoyed our stay here and benefited from the convenience of the location of the hotel. Hotel Diocleziano is about a minute's walk from Roma Termini and the Metro stops, so you can really get anywhere in the city, or outside of the city, you need to very easily. While this hotel is so close to the train, it is tucked away on a side street so you don't hear all of the noise of the city while staying there. The hotel itself is very clean and well cared for and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to any travelers looking for a nice hotel in Rome close to the train!

Lovely hotel

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in Rome. We booked this hotel as the rooms looked nice and it was close to termini (train station) which we thought would be hopeful for exploring.
The staff on check in were polite and informative, even giving extra information such as a handy map which was discussed with us so we knew which metro station to use, and the top known sights circled.
The room was clean and a decent size. The bathroom was clean and had a good selection of toiletries.
The breakfast was pleasant. Fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, breads, cold meats, cheese and some cooked items. Coffee was made to order and there was a large selection of jams and spreads.
Whilst the location of the hotel was handy in terms of access to bus tours and the metro and train station the location at night was not somewhere which I felt particularly safe. The street to the left of the hotel (when facing it) has a strong odour and a few people just hanging out. These people did not approach us however I did feel uneasy when walking down. We used the street to the right instead which made the walk only slightly longer but felt safer.
The area is quiet at night in terms of restaurants.
The hotel was clean, centrally locates and staff were pleasant. I would recommend the hotel to others and would return.
