The hotel was good and had great service with a doorman on arrrival, bags being taken to room, conceriage service on departure. Very friendly and amenable staff. Breakfast was amazing with a buffet feast with even a juicer to prepare your own carrot/apple juice! I enjoyed the spa very much with a jet pool, relaxing spa pool and sauna.
However our room was quite small on the top floor with a sloping ceiling. i managed to hit my head at least three times while getting out of bed on the holiday. There was a small leather chair in the middle of the room underneath the slope which was the most uncomfortable chair I have sat on but it looked good. The wardrobe had about 10 hangers in total to hang all of our clothes on. There was no chest of drawers/dressing table or proper bedside cabinets to pack anything into and so all of my clothes remained in the suitcase for 5 days. Beside the bed there was a very large shaded lamp each side which in partnership with the sloping ceiling made reading very difficult. The bathroom was large but no towel rail was available. Only a small knob each side of the window was provided after the towels were used. The hand basin was unable to be filled due to the unavailability of a plug.Being a 5 star hotel I thought there would be complimentary water in the room but was only available in the mini bar at 7 euro a bottle

At the end of April we booked your hotel to celebrate our honeymoon. We are coming from ct.usa .to our disappointment our fight was delayed then canceled .I had kept in touch with hotel to the unfortunate situation..we loved our room and the staff was wonderful. but it was so so disappointing that the hotel will not under any circumstances and out of frankly good faith work with me on the night I lost due to a situation totally out of our control. 456,00 plus 45,60 and 88,00 room and tax's approximately 589. Usd.,! And was told through email we where lucky not to be charged for car service being changed! For God sakes we know we could get a private transfer or even welcome pickup right at the airport. The hotel couldn't split the cost of room with us or at least not charge us the taxes! We love rome and this will be the first and last time we choose this hotel for just this reason....not bending with there rules.

This hotel offered great service. A doorman opens the door for you, every time. The reception staff always has enough people available to help you. The rooms are large and the bathroom offers a large shower. The windows open and it's great to get the fresh air. The main drawback to the hotel is the lack of a subway stop. The stops are there, but they are closed and so we had to take a cab everywhere, which was a big expense.

I have just returned for a 2 day trip in Rome, I never write reviews but this hotel was incredible. The service from point from the moment we arrived was 5 stars, our room had a huge terrace with sun loungers so that we could sunbath and the bathroom was spotless. The breakfast was lovely with free prosecco which was a nice touch and the pancakes were to die for. The location was great we could walk to the Trevi fountain and the collesum if you like walking.

I would definitely stay here again

We just returned from 10 days in Italy- amazing! Four days of it was spent in Rome, and as busy as we were, The Grand Palace seved as our gracious home. Impeccable service (always with a sincere smile), perfect accommodations, clenliness at the highest level, and great food make this very special hotel. Concierge Giada is a delight and always made us feel comfortable and Billy handled all our transportation and baggage needs. Great central location with a real European boutique hotel feel-I have been in the hotel business for many years and I travel a lot and HIGHLY recommend this property in every way!
