How to Get There
I stayed 5 nights at this hotel
The staff were kind and friendly and they help you lot,but other things was so disappointed, the breakfast just have 3,4 types of warm food and they were so simple
the rooms have many problems like toilets and showers that annoys you
We booked a 2 night stay at this hotel. Rooms are very Italian styled and beds comfortable. There wasn’t an iron and ironing board in the room but we were able to call and they were brought up to us within 5 mins. There is a safe in the room, but no tea or coffee making facilities or free water, bearing in mind how hot it was..
That aside, the staff were amazingly accommodating and I have to give a personal thanks to the lady who (I believe) was the manager for the restaurant, I think her name was Marlene or Madeleine (I’m no good with names) but she was also very helpful in letting me use her phone when I couldn’t get through to the company providing my transfer service. Thank you sooooo much. She was super accommodating at breakfast, making sure we we were happy with everything and managing our breakfast item requests. We were made to feel very special which is missing from many many hotels (we travel a lot). The gentleman at reception who was good at pointing us in the direction of the trains etc.
I would advise anyone going to Rome to stay at this hotel if you want a great service from genuinely lovely customer service staff.
Loved it here!!
Brilliant from the moment we arrived. Staff were all lovely, very helpful and nothing was too much for them.
Complimentary upgrade to a suite on arrival, (Fabulous rooms including two tv’s and a mini bar. The bath was a jacuzzi bath and shower was nice and powerful.
Spotlessly clean all round. Varnished wood reception and ground level then Marble flooring on all upper levels which really set off the ambiance of the hotel. Breakfast room very good, self serve with plenty of choice of both hot and cold food, waiter’s on hand if you wanted anything else.
Rooftop Restaurant was amazing. Expensive but well worth it. (Fine dining, Waiter’s very attentive, service excellent, food outstanding!)
Complimentary shuttle to take into city centre on the hour daily between 9-1 and there was a return collection at 6 if you wanted to use it. (Used both ways a couple of times, recommended after lots of walking!)
Can’t find any faults and would definitely recommend and return!
The junior suite claims to have a spa bath included with a romantic photograph of a spa pool under a romantic blue light. What the hotel does not tell is that the photograph is that of a spa from the wellness centre which is not a part of the room and it costs extra money to book it. The hotel has falsely advertised this under the junior suite and I happened to book this hotel ONLY under the impression that I am going to get access to this spa pool for free with a junior suite. For a hotel of such reputation I expected to find bathrobes, coffee kettle, coffee, tea, iron and a few little things that are provided by all hotels. This hotel however, does not provide any such essentials. It is a rip off and has displayed images to be able to have people booked into more expensive rooms without actually providing those facilities.
Booked the presidential suite...only to be woken up at 6am every morning by the restaurant upstairs. Far from everything. Hotel staff is not knowledgeable and never have enough change to change a 50$ bill.
