Located in the coastal resort of Playa Blanca, H10 Rubicon Palace is one of the rising stars of this multi-award-winning hotel group. Designed in the style of a modern Moorish palace, it’s a low-rise affair positioned near the sea. Adding another string to its already attractive bow, it now boasts brand new sea-view Chill Out Terrace, while a couple of its impressive array of seven eateries have also benefited from a smart refurb.
Facilities here are wide-ranging and cater to all, so you can be as active or lazy as you wish. With a staggering five adult-only swimming pools, (one heated in winter, another salt water) whether you want to do serious laps or simply float your cares away, you’ll find somewhere to do it.
The hotel’s flagship Despacio Thalasso Spa offers a deliciously slow pace of life, while you can up the excitement factor with a spot of mini-golf or beach volleyball. If you fancy a change of scenery, take a day trip to the idyllic isle of Fuerteventura or to the wild and wonderful Timanfaya National Park. For all this and more, H10 Rubicon Palace seamlessly garnered a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
How to Get There
We have spent another week here with family. Seriously can’t fault the place. The staff are marvellous, friendly and attentive. Ok, the pool temperatures not quite warm enough to feel comfortable in unless continually moving , the children’s pools could be a tad warmer. There is one pool which is warmer, up by the restaurant, but too deep for little ones. Food is good, plenty of choice . Like the Prosecco at breakfast ! The show ‘Oh Dinner ‘ is worth attending, dinner served while you watch the cabaret .
We only had one complaint..at breakfast one morning the ‘5 minute eggs’ were not cooked.....maybe the labels had been switched ...and seriously that , along with rather cool pools, is all we can think of to complain about
We stayed in the standard 5 star room. was very nice room. Staff very friendly. Would stay again when back in lanzarote. The only thing I couldn't get my head round was it was all inclusive but you had to pay for the mini bar.
We had a privilege room and we could not fault its location. The hotel was very clean and all the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Although the hotel has extensive grounds and when first arriving everywhere seemed “miles away” after settling in and looking around and getting our bearings we soon discovered short cuts to where we wanted to go. We loved walking but to get to Playa Blanca was slightly too far for us to walk but luckily there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and the bus fare to the bus station or Rubicon Marine (where twice weekly market is held) is only 1.40 Euro each way. The food was superb too. Will certainly return next year.
As a customer previously at other H10 Hotels, I decided to bring the family here instead of the hotel I normally stay at in Playa Blanca. Lots of reviews on here go into the detail fully so I'm not going to repeat it all. It's enough to say, everything was brilliant for us, we had three rooms and were upgraded, plenty of sunbeds, food was great - the only queues we found was for omelettes at breakfast. We were AI and wanted for nothing. Our party aged from 4 months and spanned three generations. We were all catered for admirably. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful & professional. There is nothing not to like here. We all thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our holiday and a week was far too short. We will certainly be back, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else now when visiting Lanzarote.
Fantastic hotel, well worth a visit. Facilities, accommodation and food were all perfect. Staff could not do enough, dining and bar areas were always being cleaned. Pool bar/restaurant, food area always had a good selection of snacks, main restaurant always had a good selection, something for everyone.
We would recommend it and go back.
