The Lowdown

With its dramatic, lunar-like landscape, Lanzarote is the most striking of the Canary Islands. Add piercing blue skies, warm seas and hours of unbroken sunshine and you have the recipe for holiday success.
Located in the coastal resort of Playa Blanca, H10 Rubicon Palace is one of the rising stars of this multi-award-winning hotel group. Designed in the style of a modern Moorish palace, it’s a low-rise affair positioned near the sea. Adding another string to its already attractive bow, it now boasts brand new sea-view Chill Out Terrace, while a couple of its impressive array of seven eateries have also benefited from a smart refurb.
Facilities here are wide-ranging and cater to all, so you can be as active or lazy as you wish. With a staggering five adult-only swimming pools, (one heated in winter, another salt water) whether you want to do serious laps or simply float your cares away, you’ll find somewhere to do it.
The hotel’s flagship Despacio Thalasso Spa offers a deliciously slow pace of life, while you can up the excitement factor with a spot of mini-golf or beach volleyball. If you fancy a change of scenery, take a day trip to the idyllic isle of Fuerteventura or to the wild and wonderful Timanfaya National Park. For all this and more, H10 Rubicon Palace seamlessly garnered a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.

Great family hotel. I recommend.

This is a great hotel. Very large and spacious. Great location with good transport links to Playa Blanca and surrounding areas.
Rooms are well equipped and clean.
We upgraded to Privilege. Is it worth it.....I'm not 100% sure. We were very well looked after and nothing was a problem. We had the choice of buffet restaurants and Privilege restaurants for breakfast and dinner. The Privilege restaurant (El Volcan) was excellent and the quality of food was outstanding. However, I felt that choice was limited. The breakfast menu was fixed, as was the main dinner a la carte menu. Although tasty, we could have been doing with some variance. The menu didn't change while we were there. There is no buffet (apart from dessert). I would have appreciated some salad, potatoes, side dishes via a buffet to mix things up a bit. The kids menu was good but no decent starters. The Privilege bar is nice and quiet but there is a better choice of drinks in the main bar. And when you're all inclusive, you're better off in the main bar. The pool bar and snack bar was great.
Plenty of sun beds available. And staff were strict on those who reserved beds from early in the morning.
I liked this hotel and would not hesitate to return.

Great Third Visit

This is our third visit to this hotel. The hotel is lovely and big, with a huge main pool and several others (the salt water does irritate though). The food is great in the main buffet (fish dishes could be a bit more varied) and the themed restaurants serve some really nice dishes! Also the pool bar, Mike's Coffee and The Bistro serve good drinks and snacks (amazing milkshakes). I'd definitely suggest going All Inclusive so that all of these restaurants and bars can be enjoyed. Evening entertainment is very good and enjoyable, wouldn't mind some more, different daytime activities as I found it was mainly yoga that took place more than anything else. Love that the beach is so near, it's nice to take a walk there. The main town and Marina aren't far from the hotel either (about 4-6 euros in a taxi). Staff are so, so friendly which makes the stay more enjoyable. Only annoying thing is that there was never a correct number of towels placed in our room, nor in the room of our friends that we went with, this could do with being improved as it saves phoning reception and waiting ages to get more delivered to the room! Wifi works well and the safe is a reasonable size. Overall an amazing holiday, and would definitely come back a fourth time.

What a lovely place. What you see on YouTube is exactly what you get. We had a nice room right near the main pool which was perfect. The food, facilities, bars, restaurants etc were all brilliant. Mikes bar did the best milkshakes!! It’s spotlessly clean everywhere and the staff are all very friendly and polite. We’ll definitely be returning next year with our children. ????????
Thank you for a fantastic holiday.
