The Canary isle of Lanzarote is a year-round holiday favourite, with seemingly endless sunshine, a raft of sandy beaches and a laid-back vibe. A little way inland from the golden sands of Costa Teguise’s Las Cucharas beach, Club Siroco Adults Only is a peaceful retreat. The hotel’s Serenity Area forms an even quieter part of the hotel’s complex, with its own separate pool and bar creating air of exclusivity and calm.
The gleaming white low-rise apartments are grouped around the tranquil swimming pool, complete with water jets. Sway in a hammock on your balcony, relax on one of many poolside loungers or amble to the Chill Out bar for a well-mixed cocktail or two. If you can rouse yourself from the serious business of tanning, you’ll find a range of activities on hand, including tennis, volleyball, ping pong, mini golf, darts and billiards.

Posting this a little late - but we had a great visit to Hotel Club Siroco over the New Year in 2018/19. We stayed in the serenity area, where the apartment was clean and a good size, and the heated pool amazing. We think the slight extra cost is well worth it The hotel is not in the centre of Costa Teguise, which we chose purposely, but the beautiful beach and esplanade is just a few minutes walk away. Only two improvements we would like when we come back next New Year, , better fruit juice and coffeeat breakfast. The New Year Buffet was really good!
The Serenity area is set up for relaxation, and by and large it delivers this. The only drawback is those guests who choose to ignore the quiet atmosphere and insist in holding long shouted conversations or in practicing group kick-boxing or similar. Without these, this is a lovely area made for relaxation: plenty of sunloungers and terraces with a bar and a spa area.
Our accomodation was lovely, and kept clean daily. It was set up to enable some basic self-catering.
The hotel is in 2 adjacent sites, with a gate between them. The "main" area also has a restaurant, which is where meals are served. We only had breakfast, but there was a wide selection of food daily with any gaps being replenished quickly.
It's about a 15 minute walk to the "centre" of Costa Teguise although there are numerous bars and restaurants reached before the centre. There is a supermarket in the hotel opposite which provides most things you look for.
All the staff we met were friendly and welcoming.
All in all, really enjoyed staying here. Not sure how much I would have enjoyed the "main" area, but the "Serenity" area is wonderful.
We booked a package holiday with Thomas cook through Travel Republic at this adults only half board hotel. Our flight was early in the morning, which meant we arrived at the hotel at a very reasonable time. Around 2pm.
Upon arrival at the hotel we were advised that our room was not yet ready and that it would be around 30 minutes. We returned to reception after thirty minutes, only to be advised that 30 minutes would be impossible and it would be another hour. So not a great experience from the outset.
Aside from this, the hotel was clean, tidy and generally well presented. The room we had was basic but adequate and clean. The fridge made a very loud humming noise, and didn’t work properly so the milk we bought to make coffee in the room turned to smelly cheese after 2 days.
The room was also not cleaned each day so we needed to goto reception to get towels.
Rooms are not air conditioned but it was around 20 degrees for our stay so the temperature was fine. I would imagine the rooms getting very hot in the evening during peak summer months and sleep being difficult.
The hotel offers half board accommodation but we only opted for the bed and breakfast. The breakfast was good and offers a full range of everything you would expect in an international hotel. The coffee however is terrible and we never had a nice cup whilst we were there.
The pool area is quiet and relaxed. We didn’t have any issues getting sunbeds each day. There is a bar at the pool that serves good quality food at a reasonable price. There is a happy hour for cocktails from 5-6 each day and the cocktails are very good. 2 for 5 euros. I recommend the Mojito and Long Island Iced Tea.
WiFi is available across the hotel and even in the surrounding area. It was not great; averaging at around 4mbps.
Given the very low price we paid for this hotel it was good value. I question whether it fully meets the 3 star rating is has been awarded.
If you’re looking for something cheap and cheerful then this place is for you. Avoid if you’re a more discerning traveller used to 4 star and above
Good value, lovely staff - it is exactly as the advertising says. If you want a relaxed holiday this is the place to go. Very clean and the staff really care. We stayed in the Serenity area and it was well worth the upgrade
