The Canary isle of Lanzarote is a year-round holiday favourite, with seemingly endless sunshine, a raft of sandy beaches and a laid-back vibe. A little way inland from the golden sands of Costa Teguise’s Las Cucharas beach, Club Siroco Adults Only is a peaceful retreat. The hotel’s Serenity Area forms an even quieter part of the hotel’s complex, with its own separate pool and bar creating air of exclusivity and calm.
The gleaming white low-rise apartments are grouped around the tranquil swimming pool, complete with water jets. Sway in a hammock on your balcony, relax on one of many poolside loungers or amble to the Chill Out bar for a well-mixed cocktail or two. If you can rouse yourself from the serious business of tanning, you’ll find a range of activities on hand, including tennis, volleyball, ping pong, mini golf, darts and billiards.
How to Get There
Very friendly hotel. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Good varied breakfast. About 15 minute walk to old town but many other bars and restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
The place is adult only because, at times, the staff take pleasure in treating you like a child. The breakfast was passable, but did not eat in the restaurant on any evening, so unable to comment. The waiting staff were outstanding!
We chose this hotel as it is adult only. It was lovely and peaceful & generally well maintained. Room was large & would be good for self catering. Good let it down unfortunately. I appreciate it was 3star but even so we felt it lacked choice and food not really hot. For this reason we would not choose half board but would return to self cater as in a good spot.
We stayed in the normal (non-Serenity) part.
The rooms are a bit basic, and a bit dated, but they're clean and comfortable, and equipment is good enough- the kettle was a nice bonus, compared to other places we've stayed. Pool, bar, wifi and location all excellent, staff helpful and friendly. Layout of rooms good for sun. Overall, for the cost it's a great place.
As others have said, it's a quiet hotel- which is wonderful. Hell is other people's music choice :-).
We upgraded to the serenity area at the extra cost of £100 each, as we needed a walk in shower for medical reasons. Unfortunately the shower had no safety handles, a very slippery base (we bought a bath safety mat to help) and the floor tiles were also quite slippery. Our apartment was quite spacious, but did not have a dining table, and although there was a table on the patio this was not always convenient if the evening was chilly. There were only two hot rings on the cooker and no oven only a microwave.Having chatted to other guests who had not upgraded, and had stayed in the standard apartment, other than our apartment being more modern and a large king size bed, this did not in my opinion justify the £100 per person supplement. So although we had a good holiday with superb weather I would not recommend upgrading to the serenity apartments.
