How to Get There
Really cool place at the Lake. Typically NOT a College drunk fest with Frat boys dancing together and splashing beer. Different types of entertainment: pool with swim-up bar, calm docks in good repair, Weekend concerts, nice restaurant with great food and views. Events: bikefest, boat shows, boat races, ... our favorite place. Good parking close by, but away from Toad Cove, with a shuttle bus ride to the front door on big events and big weekends...very nice.
Ok, not the best. Little issues, no kitchen soap, no laundry bag, lamp in room didn’t work.
The one major issue I have is their 7 day cancellation notice requirements. That is quite an extensive policy for a person.
Overpriced. The sheets didn’t fit the bed. The room was nasty especially the bathroom. One of the two places to eat (the pizza place) was closed the entire weekend. The $5 dollar muffins were stale. The entire staff was rude. Will never go back ????
