How to Get There
My wife and I went there for along weekend as we have been there before. As we expected the hotel, staff and location were stunning. The only little minor thing I would say is that when you go as we did in November with the dark nights, the car park could be better lit. It's just a little too dark. We managed to get parked close to the main door which is okay but further away is not so bright.
This was our third stay at The Belsfield and we really love it there. Upon arrival the reception staff are very helpful and friendly. Our Garden room was beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean and everything that we needed was in there. Our view was lovely overlooking the gardens and also a lovely view of the lake. Breakfast was included which was very nice. Your can have a cold buffet or hot buffet and the food was delicious. The hotel is amazing and to sit having your breakfast on a morning overlooking the beautiful lake is certainly something else. The bar and other beautiful rooms are also a lovely place to relax and have a drink or two. The location and everything about this hotel is amazing, we can't wait to get back and visit again.
My family dined in the restaurant for the set Sunday lunch menu, each course was served promptly and the quality of food was of the highest level, the Roast Beef was cooked to perfection, the meal was excellent value for money and our whole party look forward to returning again soon.
The only thing that surpassed the food was the outstanding customer service we received from the Laura Ashley team, my 87 year old Mum took ill, the care, compassion and respect that the whole team gave to the family was truly humbling, we cannot thank the team enough especially Chris Hobin whose professionalism was quite simply outstanding, this hotel is an absolute credit to the Corus Chain and we highly recommend this restaurant / hotel.
Just had our 13th yearly stay at the Belsfield for our anniversary, as always accommodation was excellent, food also and staff very helpful and friendly, we always have if possible one of the rooms with a lake view (you can't beat it), look forward to returning next year.
We stayed at The Belsfield Hotel for a surprise birthday treat for my wife. The hotel is amazing and very relaxing. The food was really nice and every member of the staff was friendly and accommodating.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice relaxing break
