Overview

A suite stay at a brand-new, four-star Fuerteventura hotel, with breakfast and dinner included

The Lowdown

Old and new come together in slick, suite style at a brand-new and exciting
Fuerteventura abode: just opened in November 2015, H10 Ocean Suites
brings cool and contemporary design to the oldest of Spain’s Canary Islands.
Just a short walk from the sandy, white-sand beaches of Corralejo and the dunes
of its stunning Natural Park, this serene oasis is the perfect place to enjoy the
Atlantic views and the destination’s “quiet isle” from.
In keeping
with the H10 Hotels group’s chic reputation, this all-suites pad is suitably stylish, with dreamy
balcony views, a fresh and cool aesthetic, and all the modern amenities you’d expect in a four-star stay. Flat-screen TVs and spacious seating areas keep you
occupied upstairs, while the hotel’s extensive gardens, impressive
pools, tennis courts and bars keep you entertained from dusk till dawn.

Suites

Hardwood floors and geometric wall tiles set the
contemporary tone in the Junior suites. An abundance of natural light from the balcony and terrace doors adds to their
already generous size, while you’ll have pool or garden views to gaze out on.

Dining

Fresh
produce is the key focus of the menu at the hotel’s buffet restaurant,
which is served up in style with regular show-cooking displays. For
sundowners, you can also pull up a stylish armchair in the lobby bar or
enjoy a cocktail on the poolside terrace of La Choza Bar. Lighter bites
and snacks can also be ordered here.

Location

Justa short stroll  from the sandy beach of Corralejo, on what is regarded as the
driest of the Canary Islands, H10 Ocean Suites is a sunbather’s dream. Here, you’ll find an abundance of the
island’s impressive natural scenery to enjoy, both at Corralejo National
Park and Grandes Playas. The nearby port also offers boat trips to
Lanzarote and Isla de Lobos.

Relaxing Time

Stayed here with friends who recommended it.
No complaints, staff very friendly & helpful, waiter service for main food with buffet for extras. Everything you could want for breakfast with buffet style for cereals, toast, colmeats, drinks etc with waiter taking cooked orders. Dinner same routine with starters & main meal waiter service from menu, with sweets you help yourself.
I am a very fussy eater with a lot of things I dont like & normally struggle with buffet style meals I managed to get good food each breakfast & dinner. Again I was restricted as fish, duck, lamb not my scene, told you I was a fussy eater still managed several choice of starters & main dishes, especially specials, curry, pork loin etc as well as sirloin steaks. With 8 in company sometimes a mix up but quickly sorted.
Accomadation in blocks best ones on bottom level especially if walking difficulties. Room clean, large shower, balcony with table & chairs all as expected. Pool area clean & tidy with guard in attendance most of time.
Daytime entertainment more relaxed and friendly with rep coming round trying to engage you in joining in. Would have liked more daytime activities such as french bools, table tennis, shuffleboard etc but I suspect size & space limited restricted such activities, & with bars not to far away for pool etc not a problem.
So not a negative but being a big kid at heart cream & ice cream with desserts would not go amiss.
All in all really enjoyed my holiday will be back some day.

Returned with the family

Having stayed at the hotel in September 2018, we decided to take our 20year old twin daughters and their boyfriends for a lovely week away and they weren't disappointed. We loved this hotel first time around nothing has changed. We arrived on Saturday 6th April and stayed in rooms 528,530 and 531, even though we arrived just after noon the rooms were ready. The most important thing about the hotel is the staff. Always pleasant and smiling and extremely hardworking, they seem to do long hours but nothing is too much trouble, although there is a small army of staff and it is slightly unfair to namecheck but we really appreciated ELI on reception, who was delightful and helpful,ANTONIO in the restaurant must walk miles in a day and is so courteous and professional and finally (sorry about the spelling)CRISTINE and YESMIN who worked in the restaurant at breakfast and were also still full of fun and providing excellent table service at the Italian restaurant mama Mia at night by making sure the table always had drinks and even taking photos and posing in them😁. The food is lovely and beautifully presented, the kitchen staff are constantly on patrol around the food re-stirring and adjusting the serving trays. At dinner the choice of meat is superb, pork, beef and chicken carvery, beef steak and salmon. Starters are varied with lots of choice and the desserts are delicious. Finally the whole complex is kept spotlessly clean and the pool area has masses of sun loungers with really friendly pool attendants who are there the whole day. A new touch we noticed this time was the comfort packs/mini bar left in the fridge, which was replenished on a daily basis, excellent touch. We've already booked again for September, so see you all again soon and thanks for a lovely holiday

Great location, hotel good

I visited this hotel for 6 days last week with extended family, including four children under 7. The ladies at reception were very friendly but check in did take about half an hour so in the end we opted to go for lunch and finalise once we returned. I have mixed feelings about this hotel, some parts were very good and others not so much.

Good points:
Breakfast was very good with lots of different options including a variety of smoothies
Plenty of sun beds
No loud booming music around the pool
Nice bathrooms with double sinks and a good shower (no bath)
Our rooms opened onto a nice quiet courtyard, so was nice to sit outside
On the terrace in the afternoon. Most rooms seemed to face out to a
Courtyard as far as I could tell.
Nice big swimming pools.
Great location, just down the road from the min strip and 5 min walk to the beach

Points not so good:
Pools were salt water and very cold, too cold for the children to swim in.
Pool towels not provided, had to pay €15 in cash per towel to rent
Safe in the room cost €20 to use
Bedrooms were small if sofa bed was used, we couldn’t move around the beds easily
Floors remained dirty everyday in our room

Although there are two big pools both with toddler pools one appears to be used solely as an adults pool (even though it’s not) and we upset a few adults with our children playing in this pool and they made us feel rather unwelcome. If travelling with children I recommend using the pool next to the kids club to save any hassle!

Overall this is a good hotel if you are looking for a no-frills accommodation close to all the amenities and beach. Also highly recommend Toro Beach restaurant for dinner!

Fantastic

Loved this place! Corralejo is a beautiful part of Fuerteventura. We booked with Jet2 and were looked after from start tk finish. The hotel was brilliant extremely clean. Our room overlooked the pool area although we couldnt see very much because of the palm trees. Balcony was massive with a table and chairs. The room was big enough for us and the bathroom too. Plenty of storage. Was just short of drink facilities. Had fridge in room too. Beds we comfy. Maid service every day. Walking distance to abundance of shops and resturants. Make the extra 5 min walk to old town and to music square well worth it. Its windy in resort so a cardy is a must at night. Great for shopping. Can highly recommend.

Excellent all round

Just returned from our holiday at ocean suites and all I can say is what a fantastic place, on arrival free glass of bubbly cases taken to room staff are so polite and go over and beyond to help food is excellent, hotel is spotless along with all the pool areas the snack bar in the day is fabulous the whole experience was great and definitely returning next year👍
I did read about the shower leaking and can agree but it’s not the end of the world don’t let this put you off.
Well done H10 excellent holiday.
