I stayed here for a week with my ex wife in January this year. It was an amazing holiday, the suites are excellent, food and service top class, and everything is what you’d want.
I have no complaint whatsoever, apart from Thera t that my ex-partner was thoroughly miserable the entire time, even moaning when the resort provided a free bottle of Prosecco for her to celebrate her birthday. That’s part and parcel of why she’s an ex-wife now. Never happy.
Seriously though, this place is wonderful across the board, no complaints whatsoever, it’s well worth a visit and a stay. I’ll be going back that’s for certain. Highly recommended.
Absolutely everything about our recent ten nights in a Bahiazul villa was excellent. It is difficult to know where to start. Both the people who run the place and the facilities provided could not be faulted. Every member of staff was so friendly, helpful and attentive from the reception through to the maintenance team who were always busy doing something to keep the place spotless and tidy.
When Manuela from reception took us to our villa and opened the door my immediate remark was that the photos we had seen on line were no exaggeration. Usually your room doesn't look like the 'best example' that the adverts have used to tempt you in. There is so much private space from the pool area with jacuzzi (in our case) to the rooftop terrace with several areas of alternative seating (some villas have their jacuzzi on the rooftop).
A comfortable indoor seating, dining table (for six) and modestly equipped kitchen far exceeded our needs. Tablets were provided and replenished for the dishwasher and washer which was more than expected. The two bedrooms we were using (a third was locked) were more than adequate, with a very powerful six jet shower in the bathroom of bedroom one that could not be faulted. There was more hanging space than usual with three wardrobes with hanging space in bedroom one - although space was a little cramped in bedroom three.
We had pre paid for the half board option which included breakfast with all the options except perhaps for some of the really 'fussy' eaters that I occasionally see writing reviews, and an evening meal that varied from day to day so there was no feeling by the last night that you were glad to be going. What I can say is that whilst eating in the villa may have been good for anyone on bed and breakfast, eating out is not ideal since it is quite a walk to any other establishments or a taxi ride into Corralejo. The nearby supermarket is brilliant but beware if you arrive on Saturday evening that this is closed on Sunday!
The best holiday we have ever had - and this is our fifth holiday this year so we do have comparisons. It was not cheap but was worth every penny. We cannot possibly name every member of staff who was helpful but Manuela on Reception and Nelson in the dining room cannot go without a mention.
