This hotel is amazing. Guest service is amazing. Accommodations for children are wonderful. From the room to the staff, the activities for kids. This was a great first family vacation with my 14 month old son. I cannot say enough about how warm and welcoming the staff was to my son and I. Beaches are beautiful and clean. Pool is perfect temperature for little ones. I would highly recommend this hotel to both couples and families. Many of the restaurants have great food. Specifically argentina and hibachi.
Thank you palladium for the great vacation. Excellent service Juana

The resort is fine, and you get what you pay for. Rooms are clean, food is fine, pool is nice and the beach is clean. The service is slightly below average, and will only get worse once they realize that you are American--even to the point where the staff actively steals from guests

Glasses stolen, not great for families with teens tried to make the best of it.

First family vacation in 8 years although I have traveled quite a bit and to many islands and Europe it's been limited since having children. I picked this resort because I had read reviews that it was a good spot for teens (I have 4) but it was disappointing. The resort is moderately sized the rooms are clean and modern. Upon check in our rooms were not ready and we had to change in the lobby until they were ready for us. Ok not a big deal we had already had a long travel day and wanted to just eat and rest . The food at the beach bar buffet was not great , we thought we were just being crabby after our long day but we quickly found out the food at this resort is bad except for the breakfast buffet which had something for everyone, not out of this world -but decent. Just to let you know how bad , my 16 year old son who would pretty much eat anything barely ate the entire trip. We had a suite with a private pool/jacuzzi that did not work for 2 days. I did not find that there was anything else included other than food and drinks , activities , spa etc were all extra. The gym was nice but many of the machines were broken, my son visited the gym and turned his back for 30 seconds and his 2 day old Ray bans purchased at the hotel were robbed. We filed a report but I'm sure not getting them reimbursed, he is certain it was the employee cleaning machines as he was the only one around. The beach is beautiful but the harassment is so far beyond any other island I have ever visited that it is annoying. You can't even shop at the straw markets because the owners are just incessant and major con artists. 2 days before we are to leave we get a call from the front desk saying that we "booked wrong" and we owe $800 more dollars which we refused to pay we are already paying for 2 rooms one for us one for the kids and they said that they thought the kids were under 12 and it would be more - but they checked and verified our passports at check in so we think this was a scam of some sort. The staff was friendly , all in all we made the best of it but I would never return or recommend to anyone . Especially when there are so many other resorts to choose from with so much more to offer. I can't figure out why there are so many great reviews.
