In the Area
Cap Cana is home to high-end restaurants as well as the Punta Espada Golf Club, an 18-hole oceanfront course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Nearby, several catamaran and snorkeling excursions are available, or visitors can take an eco-tour of Hoyo Azul, a pristine blue lagoon at the base of a 200-foot cliff. For a day of relaxation or excitement on the water, Bavaro Beach is a 30-minute drive, while Macao Beach (a 45-minute drive) offers a more isolated beach scene. Shoppers can explore the Palma Real Shopping Village, and when it’s time for a bite to eat, the Jellyfish restaurant (Bavaro Beach) serves seafood in a fine-dining atmosphere. After the sun goes down, the Hard Rock Casino and its trendy nightclub, Oro, provide the entertainment.
How to Get There
AlSol Luxury Village had the best staff we have ever had the pleasure of working with! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. They are all part of our personal family now and we absolutely love each of them, including Ynocencio, Antonio, Jorge, Francisco, Sergio, Raul, Raquel, Apolinar, Cairo, and the rest of the staff. The food at the buffet was delicious. There wasn't a meal that we did not enjoy! Thank you AlSol Luxury for making our vacation one to remember!
We were the Maiden family that stayed at your resort from 6/8-6/15. It was our first time in the Dominican Republic & we had a fantastic time with all the employees at the AlSol! Everyone was so nice & very friendly with all the vacationers! Great atmosphere, excellent tourist advice, nice and helpful employees!
Also, we had forgotten 2 developed vacation photos somewhere in the lobby before leaving to come back to the United States. And we emailed their customer service, who FOUND the photos and sent us 2 nicely scanned digital copies! VERY THANKFUL for the help!
Hope to return sometime in the future! Take care everyone!

We went to AlSol Luxury resort as our first family vacation and we couldn’t be any happier. The staff is AMAZING!!! They are all very friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I’ve never came across such an awesome group of people. They were always smiling and laughing and having a good time with everyone. They are the most genuine and friendliest people you’ll ever come across. My kids loved all of them. My kids were very sad to leave and some shed a few tears. Everyone was amazing but of course we have a few of our favorites who made our trip that much more special.
Our favorite bartender and overall person is Inocencio he was so kind and funny and my kids loved him.
Sergio was also amazing he made sure we were ok and talked baseball with my husbdans and kids and even set up a special dinner for us as a thank you.
Francisco one of our favorite waiters was very nice and liked joining aeound with my daughter. He even made us fresh lemonade to help with the heat.
Stephanie from the front desk helped us out with somebody issues we had with our booking.
I can go on and on about everyone single person but it would take too long but I do want to mention a few more.
Jorge, Angel, Apolinar, Martin, Henry, Robinson, Danyeli, Maria, Cesar, Bronny, Gregorio, Morocha, Mr Cap and not to mention Perla who was in charge of the kids club. My daughter loved her.
Charlie is in charge of entertainment, he has the best energy and attitude and is one of a kind.
And finally Bautista he touched my kids hearts with his words of wisdom and advice. My son said if he makes it to the pros he’s going to bring everyone to live with him. These few people I mentioned will forever hold a place in our hearts. They became part of our family.
We will be planning a trip to he’s back soon.
I highly recommend AlSol Luxury Village.
From the Casasola family.
My family had a great time at the Alsol Luxury Village. The room was outstanding and the staff courteous and engaging. We had a blast every day at breakfast with Francisco, our bartender Innocensio taught my wife spanish and everyone was so kind. The romantic dinner with my wife topped it off and Freddy provided unbelievable service. We had a great time and will go back.
This was our fourth visit to Al Sol Luxury Village and I have to admit they have progressively gotten better. When Al Sol initially took over the property it was a bit difficult to see the direction they were headed in. Service Levels weren't great and the property was not well maintained (still beautiful though). In addition, access to the Tiara hotel was limited at best. I never took the time to write a review previously because I did not feel anything out of the ordinary had been accomplished. However, things have really taken a turn for the best. The property is well maintained, access to Tiara's facilities are seamless, service levels are at an all time high and activities now match mega resorts throughout the island. These things alone did not merit the review. What separates this hotel from others is their staff...Gabriel (bellman) is very genuine and always willing to assist. Abad (server at Tiara) was very attentive and made our stay unforgettable. Abad's boss (sorry, I forgot his name) maintained a perfect balance between keeping the hotel management's expectations met and most importantly making sure that guests receive the best experience possible. He is the definition of a leader and I hope the hotel takes notice. Wilsa/Gioandri (the new wedding department personnel) are a delight to work with and Responsive! We look forward to our return trip next month as we chose this hotel to host our wedding.
