How to Get There
It is astounding to find the breakfast provided by one of the best hotels in Railey to be so disappointing. The lack of variety and low quality buffet do not match the rating of this resort. Despite the scenic view, the 350 Bath per pax breakfast is not worth it. To make it worse, it is ridiculous that providing a single pillow and blanket is considered as an extra bed service, which by the way, costs 4000++ Bath per night. Both of my children were expected to sleep on the existing single sofa bed. The only thing that is good about this resort is its room and the landscape around it.
The hotel is beautiful. It has that beach town feel with comfortable amenities. It is directly by the water at one of the best beaches in southern Thailand. My wife and I stayed at one of the Villas and loved it! Good service, nice natural light, comfortable bed, not directly connected to any other room and close to the main town strip (filled with beach style restaurants and stores). I do have 1 suggestion for the resort staff, please update the keys to enter your rooms. It is a bit tricky getting them to work at first (well, it was for us) until you get the "trick". Perhaps some card reader keys will be a good investment? Other than that, we LOVED our stay and would definitely stay here again. I recommend this place to anyone looking to have a relaxed stay while in Railay Beach.
The plus side: location is amazing. Pools clean. Porters friendly who bring your bags from the boat. Airport pickup so good. Shower was fantastic.
The down sides: Breakfast. A lot of it was cold. I even asked for 2 fried eggs at an egg station then when I ate them they were cold! The only time on the holiday I got a dodgy stomach was after eating breakfast at the hotel. We ate out in the end which I’ve never done in my 29years of travelling.
Bathroom dated but clean.
My advice eat out for breakfast if you stay here!
My husband and I went to Thailand for our two week honeymoon. We traveled to Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Krabi and Phuket, and Railay Beach and Railay Village Resort and Spa was by far our favorite place and the best service we encountered! We booked the honeymoon packages because it was a great deal! It included the jacuzzi villa suite, 4 hour private island hopping tour, a coupon for dinner, and a sunset dinner that was beyond our expectations. Ms. Siriwan Janthanam hosted our stay and she continually made us feel comfortable and ensured we were having a great time and receiving great transportation.
If you are traveling to Thailand, this is a must visit place and stay here! You wont be disappointed!
The honeymoon suite was very big and spacious . Being a westerner you have to understand the mattress is hard, typical for Eastern countries. The friendly staff was very helpful if you needed help or had questions. They provided breakfast every morning, along with some lunch type dishes. The resort is on the beach with the availability to rent kayaks or go on long tail boats to Ao Nang. I would recommend the resort.
