Nice Resort - Nice Food
Reviewed 1 day ago

Why did I rate 4 star only? Simply because the Service.
Now I want to be very specific:

What you get in perfection:
- A nice and clean resort with nice rooms
- Nice and clean Swimmingpools. The one towards the inside/east Railay is like a tropical garden. Just perfect
- the Food at the Restaurant (Taste, quality) is very good and reasonable priced
- they say they don’t serve alcohol but at the end they do. You just have to pay the Alcohol in cash. The rest goes to the Restaurant bill
- Friendly Staff, also the one who help you with the bags once you are there
- Breakfast was good
- Whole resort is like a well maintained tropical garden with monkeys, snails and frogs. Don’t be afraid. They do nothing. It’s nature

The criticism not to get 5 stats:
- Service in the Restaurant. You havelock be active and calling for attention then you get served. They are friendly but not pro active in serving and cleaning
- I tried to get in contact with the Hotel prio to our arrival to organize support with the bags (we have three kids and 5 pieces of luggage). It was impossible and we had to bring all the bags by ourselves from the east to the Village at west.

Hint: leave bags behind at the East pier. Walk to the Hotel and request help. This will work.

Nicest resort in West Railay
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This is a beautiful resort! It is very nicely landscaped, and their pools are beautiful! As other reviewers have mentioned, their beds are hard. I really noticed it towards the end of my 5 night stay. Like the other Railay West resorts, the resort spans much of the distance from the West to the East side, so many rooms (mine included) are quite a distance from the beach. It didn’t bother me, but people should know that there are almost no beachfront rooms anywhere in Railay (at any resort — except maybe the Railay Beach Club which may have some beachfront homes to rent). I didn’t mind, the walk was beautiful! Also, the waterfront can be noisy with all of the long tail boats. The hotel staff was nice, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Because I arrived late at night, I arranged for transportation through the resort. It cost me 2000 baht, but it was worth it for peace of mind. You can find cheaper transport to Railay, but it can be challenging at night.

Amazing Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at Railay Village Resort, it’s on a lovely beach next to walking street. The staff are outstanding.

We arranged the airport transfer directly with the hotel and it was worth every penny.

Two staff members made our holiday; one was a cleaner/towel man that was working behind our room. He helped me when my daughter cut her toe, I am extremely grateful for his help. He dressed and cleaned her toe, I am not sure what I would have done without him.
The other was the man that helped with our luggage on arrival, he was fantastic. He went out of his way to make sure our holiday was perfect, he even got the first aid kit and put on clean dressing for my daughter.

We stayed in a 2 bed family room, it was very large but had a strange set up, not sure if it would be suitable for younger families.

I would stay here again for the staff, pools and location.

Good place. Can be improved.

We went here last week and stayed for 2 nights. We had booked the jacuzzi villa which was excellent. Property is maintained well and swimming pools are good too. Locatopn of the hotel is good. Right on the Railay west beach. But there are lot of ferry boats standing in front of the resort.

But breakfast was not that great. Also they did not provide concierge service when we arrived at the Railay beach. When you reach the beach you need to step out of boat in the sea water. It is very difficult to do with bags. Bags can get wet. Then from beach you need to carry the bags to.the reception. It is very close but difficult. Other resorts which are next to this resort were providing this facility.

Overall had a good stay here for 2 nights. But I guess Railay Bay resort will be a better option. They have sunbeds facing the ocean which this place does not have. Also beach in front of Railay bay is meant for swimming as there are no ferry boats that side.

A paradise setting
Reviewed 1 month ago

We stayed for 8 nights booking a twin poolside room and a deluxe double villa. We ordered an airport pickup which although expensive I think was worth it. On arrival at the accommodation we checked in which took well over 30minutes. we were told we had to provide proof that we had paid for our first night. They had a receipt in hand but that wasn't enough. Strange request, surely they know whether or not we had paid. We had to get onto our online banking to show the transaction as proof before we could continue.

Our rooms were in a beautiful setting surrounded by tropical plants and trees. Aircon worked well although a bit noisy. Shower was always hot and powerful, with a nice selection of free toiletries. The beds and pillows are a bit hard, tv worked well with only a couple of channels in English. 2 bottles of drinking water are provided everyday which is good. The main criticism is a lack of drawer space (there isn't any) so our clothes were kept in the case or sprawled out on the sofa bed. Also wifi was a bit hit and miss in this part of the resort but worked very well near to the restaurant/reception.

Breakfast is served every morning from 7am til 10am. Some of the trips we did started at 7am so we were unable to get to breakfast, they did however give us a breakfast pack with a sandwich and banana in. The quality at breakfast wasn't the best, food left uncovered and luke warm and not a great deal of selection. On one morning I tried to get a tea...no cups, then no tea bags (I had to ask for them) and for glasses for orange juice, and a bowl for my cereal, then a spoon. I gave up in the end. Baked beans one morning were stone cold at 7am, so they hadn't been heated at all.

We spent most of our time around the 2 pools. The long pool is at the rear of the property and is the prettiest pool I have ever seen, surrounded by tropical plants and flowers. Its also a very good pool for swimmers due to its good length. The pool near the reception is smaller and shadier and next to the restaurant and coffee shop which is ideal and also has a daily visit from the monkeys coming down for a quick drink. The biggest criticism is a lack of sun beds, I counted 11 at the long pool and 12 at the front pool. No where near enough for the amount of rooms. The long pool had reserved towels on by 8am each morning and people wouldn't turn up there til afternoon, very annoying.

All in all we had a lovely time here and loved the peace and tranquility, staff were always friendly and polite and I would definitely consider returning one day.
Just a note...No alcohol is served on the premises but you can bring in your own
