Not worth the money
OnAir593120

Arrived yesterday evening. Booked the taxi and boat direct with hotel. By the time we got to the hotel our luggage and ourselves were drenched through. Didnt cover luggage till we got to end of the pier. Stood in reception for nearly an hour trying to sort out rooms. Nightmare. Got to the room and all our clothes in cases are soaking wet. Went to the railay restaurant for a meal and was served raw chicken. Got up this morning and both have upset stomachs. The friends we are with are having big problems with there child not being served food at breakfast. We have 4 days here and we are already looking for flights to leave. Very very disappointed with the hotel. We are in room 1028 and haven't slept all night. It's like sleeping on a slab of concrete the bed is that hard. Don't waste your time or money here.

Beautiful poolside rooms, but...

The poolside rooms were looking quite beautiful, and the pool was also ok, but there are so many mosquitoes around. So, don't forget to ever apply repellent. Restaurant is not very good. Beer is at a high price, and restaurant staff is generally disinterested about your comfort and favor theirs. There are flies flying around on the buffet table. We preferred fresh omelette, but it was a struggle to get it from grumpy staff.

Best Place on Railay Beach

It is beachfront, on Railay West which is the superior side of the peninsula. Boats from Ao Nang drop off literally right in front of the resort. The pools are amazing, and unlike prior reviews, we had no issues getting chairs at either pool at any time of day, and the resort was fully booked. The rooms are so luxurious, and feel like you should be paying twice the amount. We were a bit taken aback by reviews talking about the no alcohol thing at the hotel, but we didn’t find this to be an issue (and we drink a lot). Servers brought us beers at the restaurant with no issue or hesitation, and we really only ate there once, since walking street with all the bars and restaurants is steps away from the resort. Don’t let that be a deterrent!
