The ultimate beach paradise, Krabi boasts a fantastic array of activities for a well-rounded tropical holiday. Exhilarating island hopping tours, as well as diving and snorkeling excursions can be booked for a fun-filled day trip. Head towards Krabi Town to explore the colourful markets and get your hands on unique, handmade souvenirs. Or simply walk about Ao Nang for a relaxing massage, after exploring the resort town’s dining and nightlife scene. You definitely want to head up to Lay Lay Grill for a bird’s eye view of the mountains and sheltered Ao Nang Beach.
All this is best experienced from a stellar resort like Deevana. The four-star resort is spanking new, with modern furnishings and a calming, minimalist design. Embodying the spirit of a tropical holiday, the resort has lagoon-like pools, al-fresco dining options, and bright and airy rooms that come with massive outdoor bathtubs.
How to Get There
We booked into this hotel as It was advertised on booking.com as an adult only hotel. This unfortunately is currently not the case. When we went to speak to the manager about this, they told us that they hadn’t always been adults only and that they had had some existing bookings for families. So this is NOT adults only hotel just yet.
The rooms are not that big, that’s not really a problem but the lack of storage is an issue. The bathroom and the shower were great. We had a room with a bath - wow it was a great bath, never had such a large bath. It does take about half an hour to fill but it’s worth the wait.
The two pools are nice.
Great hotel, especially for families, here are a couple of tips (a) get a room behind the hotel facing away from the road, as it can be a little bit noisy otherwise (b) eat at Carnivore or Umberto's if you can afford it (b) book your tours at SWIFT travel, they saved us money compared to what the resort were going to charge us for a trip to Koh PP, just walk down to the main beach road, then turn left, and they are on the left
Great place, arrived with a free upgrade.. Always a Pleasure!
Room - huge.. Luxury one of the finest hotels I've stayed in Ever! Very classy... Clean.. Huge.. Up to High spec - loved the room!
Pool - beautiful scenary not much sun bathing due To Lots of trees but it's practically in A jungle awesome!
Breakfast - amazing! Lots of variety and very well presented! Clean and tidy
Area - nice area outside For a Walk
Would highly recommend this hotel without fail 5/5
We have stayed at the Deevana in Phuket and thought we would try the Deevana Krabi, once again we were impressed by their high level of service , effiency and standard , two lovely pools, friendly staff , nice buffet breakfast and a restuarant on site, however don't get confused with Deevana Oriental Spa which is situated right next to Deevana Krabi Resort, but if you do they take your luggage over . We stayed 4 nights in their lovely duplex room , can't fault the resort on anything
Hotel room was very nice. Outside tub was a wonderful way to cool down before going to bed.
The bed was very comfortable and our room was large.
Hotel pools were clean and refreshing.
I likes that children under 8 were not allowed in the pools.
