Located on one of the most beautiful (and private) beaches on an island known for its beautiful beaches, Silavadee Pool Spa Resort is secluded, romantic, and exclusive. It’s a mix of rustic, back-to-nature simplicity, and high-end creature comforts like a French spa and 24-hour butlers who can arrange anything from island tours to private beach barbecues. The 80 rooms and villas are spacious (starting around 500 square feet), and almost all of them have private pools with aqua-massage chairs or Jacuzzis, as well as bang-up ocean views.
In the Area
The island of Koh Samui, or Samui as locals and regular visitors call it, has a history that spans more than 325 years. It was discovered by backpackers several decades ago, but since the 1990s it’s become a present-day sophisticated enclave of excellent spas, dining and nightlife. The Big Buddha Temple is its most famous landmark, and the 40-feet-high golden deity is visited by devout locals as well as tourists. The hotel can also arrange private long-tail boat tours to the Five Islands to see caves, beaches and bamboo houses perched on high limestone cliffs, on islands that were until recently completely inaccessible to foreigners.
How to Get There
We were at the Silavadee during Valentine's day and we had an opportunity to join dinner , it was amazing the food was great, staff was friendly and the music was great ! They had an opera night and we loved it ! We had at the pool Vila with the private pool and we definitely will go back with my babe with that room!
Silavadee offers the best Ocean Front resort stay in Thailand for singles/couples/family.
Service & service recovery is top notch and the quiet setting plus eco-friendly resort theme provides an unforgettable experience.
Not forgetting resort provides very comfortable shuttle bus service to shopping/beach venue.
Back for a 3rd time since 2017,18,19...hope to visit again !

We stayed there during February 2019. The rooms is nicely decorated and we could enjoy a beautiful ocean view.
We had stayed a few nights at the resort to enjoy a BBQ buffet and also some drinks with tapas on the roof top bar which is a great spot for sunset views as well. DJ was playing there on some nights which gave great atmosphere to the venue.
The resort has a very nice little ‘private’ beach where you can chill and relax during the day.
It is conveniently located in Lamai so it is easy to go around and visit other attraction.
We have also met with the Resort Manager, Manuel, who makes sure his guests spend a great time at his resort.
Opas, Bar Manager, was also someone with great attention!
Would recommend to anyone who wish to stay in Samui.
PS: next time we will try to stay in one of the villas which looks fantastic too!
We stayed here in January for 3 nights at the start of our honeymoon.
The hotel is very secluded and is tucked away. Unfortunately we had bad weather when we were staying so couldn’t make full use of the pools etc but everything in the hotel was stunning, from the infinity pools to the private beach and the breakfast was fantastic (the best we had in 4 weeks in Thailand)!
We enjoyed free Yoga and Meditation classes on the beach - and ended up basically having private sessions as we were the only ones who attended!
The staff were great and we loved that they transport you around on golf buggys (some of the hills are quite steep)!
The rooftop bar is amazing at night time and is very romantic.
The hotel was too quiet for us in the evening with nothing really happening but the hotel put on free transfers to Lamai and Chewang. I would also really recommend a visit to Bhoput which had beautiful shops, restaurants and bars.
The best thing we did in Koh Samui was rent a moped and drive to Elephant Gate to the Island View restaurant - not to be missed!! We could also drive to local waterfalls which were beautiful.
Thank you for a lovely stay!
We spent the first 5 days of our honeymoon here and how we wish we could stay longer! The resort is beautiful, each member of the staff were very kind and were willing to help with everything we needed. We loved how they pay attention to all the guests and make them feel special from time to time. The whole place is very clean and they really do pay attention to the little details as well. Even though it’s high season now, the private beach and the pools were not crowded at all. The restaurants offered a big selection of different kind of tasty food and the breakfast was amazing as well. The only thing we noticed is that the aircon in the room is way too noisy for a resort that’s so high standard as it is. All in all we loved our stay and would very much like to come back in the future.
