Located on one of the most beautiful (and private) beaches on an island known for its beautiful beaches, Silavadee Pool Spa Resort is secluded, romantic, and exclusive. It’s a mix of rustic, back-to-nature simplicity, and high-end creature comforts like a French spa and 24-hour butlers who can arrange anything from island tours to private beach barbecues. The 80 rooms and villas are spacious (starting around 500 square feet), and almost all of them have private pools with aqua-massage chairs or Jacuzzis, as well as bang-up ocean views.
In the Area
The island of Koh Samui, or Samui as locals and regular visitors call it, has a history that spans more than 325 years. It was discovered by backpackers several decades ago, but since the 1990s it’s become a present-day sophisticated enclave of excellent spas, dining and nightlife. The Big Buddha Temple is its most famous landmark, and the 40-feet-high golden deity is visited by devout locals as well as tourists. The hotel can also arrange private long-tail boat tours to the Five Islands to see caves, beaches and bamboo houses perched on high limestone cliffs, on islands that were until recently completely inaccessible to foreigners.
How to Get There
A dream villa
The check in process is smooth while make sure your are with your passport and the credit card that you made your booking. Staff are helpful and served with courtesy.
This Ocean front pool villa is an elegant and luxury villa with a stunning sea view. The swimming pool is bigger than my expectation.
The resort provides buggy service to pick you up to every corners of the facilities especially when you are holding your baggage.
For those who drive a car, the parking area is limited. Staff will take care of your car. You are expected to leave your car key at the front desk in case of car movement.
The only concern is the supply of hot water will diminish after you fill up the bathtub. You have to wait for a while for the water to heat up again.
Ocean front pool villa is a high-end and costly villa but you will find the way to one of the dream villa in your list.
it was an amazing experience. We went there for the off-season, mid-november. All the facilities were stunning. One of the pools was closed, but the rest of the services were totally fine.
Ocean Front Villa was a PERFECT way to start our honeymon. You are going to read reviews like it is "isolated" or "far from center" but do not mind it. There's a shuttle to Chaweng and Lamai beaches. And even if you miss a shuttle bus or turn back late, you can pay 300 bahts to tuk-tuk like taxis, and turn back with an affordable price any time.
Hotel stuff is great. We enjoyed ALL the food so much. We loved the room, the bathroom, even the mosquito sprays they provided. They gave us flip-flops, umbrellas, everything we needed.
It was really an unforgettable experience for me and my wife. We will definitely come and stay there again in the future.
Beautiful resort, big spacious rooms, the ocean front villas are a must, the food was excellent quality, the hotel was very accommodating, Mr Vee the manager was very efficient in addressing a few issues we had, we would definitely visit this resort again
by far the best luxurious hotel in koh samui is Silavadee Spa Resort and thank you to all team were a warmest welcome by FO team monitoring by Khun Kritnaphat Reservation Manager, throughout..points to the views are out of this world ... the restaurant is amazing .
you should check out the sunset from the hotel and the beach side as well ... Highly recommended .
This Resort, while its location is quite "isolated" (with no ready transportation other than the Resort's "shuttle") offers tranquillity and good options for swimming [both the "private beach" and the swimming pool]. Their Jacuzzi also adds to ones relaxation. The "Moon Restaurant" and the bar are quite good and the service provided by the staff is "more than enjoyable". We found that the Thai food selections were the most interesting and delicious!
I hope that this Review has been helpful.
