Overlooking Lipa Noi’s white sand beach on the ever popular island of Koh Samui, Nikki Beach is a glam all-suite party pad with a see-and-be-seen beach club. Inspired by traditional Thai architecture, the suites are large and light-filled, with recessed lighting, colonial-style ceiling fans and sprawling private balconies (furnished with a chaise for stylish lounging). The bathrooms come with walk-in rainfall showers, his-and-hers sinks and aromatherapy bath products. There are four pools in total (one exclusively for guests), but most of the action takes place by the infinity pool at the beach club, where the cocktails flow and the DJs spin into the night. There’s a weekly roster of events, from film screenings to live music and an award-winning Sunday brunch. When you’re not soaking up the rays with the bronzed and the beautiful, the hotel offers free kayak, bike and snorkel rental and can arrange cooking classes and trips to local markets; there’s also a massage pagoda that offers a long list of treatments.
In the Area
Take a motorboat tour of the spectacular Angthong National Marine Park — the setting for Alex Garland’s novel The Beach. About an hour’s ride from the resort, the park is ideal for snorkel and scuba excursions, with stingrays, whale sharks and barrel sponges in abundance. Take a trip to the “Big Buddha,” a 35-foot-tall golden statue, with a picture-perfect temple, excellent food stalls and a bustling market. Or enjoy a half-day elephant tour of the jungle, stopping off for a dip at Na Muang, arguably the island’s most beautiful waterfall.
How to Get There
My fiancé and I were visiting here for lunch, celebrating our engagement, and had a fantastic experience. We were staying at a competing resort, and took them up on their complementary shuttle service to visit. Once we arrived we received great service, a beach front day bed, great views, and good food/cocktails. Once it got too hot, we asked to move, so they brought out a fan in a shaded table for us. But the real icing on the cake was when Bruce (the Manager?) came over, personally thanked us for visiting, and offered us a key to one of the empty suites to “shower, freshen up, or relax” before returning to our hotel. It was an incredible gesture, and speaks to both the overall culture we’ve encountered in Koh Samui, and the impeccable service at Nikki. I mean heck... everyone knew who we were and what hotel we came from as soon as we stepped in the resort. I wish we were there for one of their famed parties, but I’m sure it’s just as great.
We had come to Koh Samui from Koh Phangan (would not recommend) and arrived here at Nikki Beach with no reservation, we were given 5* service from the moment we arrived. We had paid the extra for a room that opens up to the pool and it was definitely worth it! You get free access to the water sports down at the beach too which is a bonus and the massages were great, we had gotten a couples massage, this was more expensive than what you would usually pay for a massage in Thailand however should i visit again i would get another. We had eaten in the restaurant for dinner, the food was lovely and the atmosphere was great as they had a singer. This is just a short drive away from fisherman's village too.
Amazing resort. Rooms and views are beautiful. We happend to be there for the brunch on Sunday, it was a lot of fun, other then that Sunday the resort was pretty quiet and peaceful. Food was really good. There is nothing else really around so keep That in mind, beside a little market/store a Thai lady owes we walked to for a few things. But we didn’t feel the need for much while we stayed there, hotel had everything. Would definitely stay again
