How to Get There
We are half way through our stay at Anantara Bophut,
It’s a beautiful hotel right from the entrance, it’s location is fabulous- right on the beach & a 3 minute walk to all the restaurants. The beach is very clean, the pool is fabulous.
The staff have all been so welcoming and helpful.
I would happily recommend this hotel .
Sofa was dirty and seemed to have semen stains.
Bed had black marks everywhere and looked extremely dirty
Bathroom smelled foul and everything seemed very old and dated.
Have stayed at the best of the best and worst of the worst, but this one needs its own category.
DO NOT STAY HERE. The sheets were horribly dirty, the bathroom stench made me want to vomit, there appeared to be semen stains on the chairs, our terrace bench didn’t have cushions because the they had bird poop on them. They wouldn’t give us a refund even though we were here on our honeymoon. Worst service ever. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
We stayed in a garden view hotel. The room was spacious and spotless with all the luxury extras you would expect from a five star hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a little chaotic at times with what seemed to be a shortage of staff for the number of guests so we had to wait for coffee and tea for a while, but the choice was good enough, but a little samey each day.
The pool area is lovely and the twice a day happy hour is good value for lovely cocktails. The fire lighting sequence throughout the garden each night is a lovely touch.
The location of the hotel is a short walk from Fisherman’s village which has a lot of different restaurants and shops.
We were in Thailand for 4 weeks, and we spent one week at Anantara. The service here is just great, and we regretted not staying there longer. No request was too much, the staff was amazing, and the food was tasty. It is pricey to eat there, but there is plenty of other restaurants around. We were traveling with 2 small kids, and the kids club was awesome.
