How to Get There
The hotel was booked by my company so I didn't know the price until check-in and as it was so late at night I would have gone elsewhere when I noted the price. Yes, $600USD equivalent for a nice room, good service but a hotel that is like a maze and tests your stamina finding where things are.
The breakfast was one of the worst buffet I have ever had in Japan and the egg station only did omelet so if you wanted something other than the usual tray of scrambled eggs forget it.
This is the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed in apart from remote private resort rooms on vacation which are a 10 score compared to this 1 score.
Even though it was under renovation it is still a beautiful property. Wish I could see it when it is completed. Our room was one that had been renovated. It was beautiful. The bathroom was top notch. The king size bed was HUGE, I felt like I was a basketball court away from my husband. It is a long way from city center, but the shuttle was very handy.
We stayed in a beautifully renovated room with a very comfortable bed and pretty views and a very nice balcony. The construction is an inconvenience and it is very loud during the day but we enjoyed our stay and hope to visit after the renovation is completed. Breakfast was served in a ballroom which felt awkward but the service was very very good and the selection of Japanese and western items was excellent. The service at breakfast was really top notch.
