How to Get There
Stayed for 3d2n. Excellent service and beautiful resort.
The breakfast spread is awesome with free flow of sparkling wine. They assist to get taxis for you and help to plan your day. They have a kids club for the children and a lovely pool.
It's 6km from the airport and about 20 minutes from most of the other attractions. Would stay here again and again.
I was so excited to stay here based on all the positive reviews I read. However, I did not receive the same experience as others I guess. I find this to not be a family friendly resort. While staying there the staff asked me to keep my kids quiet while playing in the pool. My kids are five and seven and were told to be quiet while playing in the pool? First time this has ever happened and we travel to different destinations at least five times a year.
The food options for kids are quite sad and no matter which restaurant you go to you get the same kids menu. At lunch there is only one option to choose from and it is just so so. One night they had a seafood barbecue (at least that it what they called it). We ordered a large sample of many different items (this was not cheap). All of the food was bland and mostly dried out.
The manager was quite nonresponsive on a particular issue we had and after not replying to us as promised, he decided to blame the problem on us. I must say that was quite amusing to my wife and I. We ordered a room with what was supposed to be a sleeper sofa. It was definitely not. One child can sleep on this if they are small. So we had to rotate as to which child shared a bed with us each night.
The only real positive in my opinion to this place is the breakfast buffet. It was really great. Other than that I would stay elsewhere if you have children. We have also stayed at one of the Vinpearl options and my children had a much better time!
Almost faultless hotel stay from start to finish and imo excellent value for a decent hotel like this. Free airport pick up, friendly check in. Spacious and comfortable room with massive bed. Shower pressure a bit weak though. Beautiful landscaped gardens and nice pool leading to the beach. Shame it rained almost non stop when were there! We ate in the Indian restaurant and Salinda restaurant and both dinners were excellent if a bit pricey. Staff fabulous and really professional and helpful. Great hotel. Spa expensive though imo.
