Amazing hotel

We are spending our holidays with our two daughters in the resort. It's fantastic. Very clean, elegant, big rooms, beautiful view from the terrace. The garden, beach and pool are also very nice. The food is amazing. The staff is very helpful and kind. Excellent choice! I would recommend to everyone. It's really a five star hotel.

A beautiful resort!

We stayed at the Salinda for 4 nights and enjoyed the relaxing and calm atmosphere it provided. The staff were so attentive that we felt as though we were home guests and not hotel guests. The manager found time to talk to all guests, making our stay very personal and connected us to local people. The restaurant is beautiful and has a varied menu for all tastes. The view from the hotel courtyard, looking towards the sea is lovely.

pleasurable stay - highly recommended

We spend 4 nights and had an awesome time. Why we loved it?

- clean and good size room in modern design, super clean nice view over the palm trees onto the sea
- extremely friendly and helpful team, great level of English, helpful always smiling
- clean beach with enough sun beds and shadow if wanted
- big super clean pool with nice pool bar, good temperature
- amazing breakfast buffet, excellent huge selection, that beats many 5-star chain hotels easily, this was one of the absolute highlights here and made us get out of bed early
- great al a cart food in the evening in the main restaurant, we didn't expect that, worth a visit or more, no need to venture out every night
- a big bar with themed entertainment evenings not too loud music and good drinks

Only not so highly recommended place in the hotel is the Italian restaurant Casa Italiana. Complaining on a high level, the we are living in big cities, but it was just not worth the evening spend there. The food is ok, so was the service so no big problem just not as good as the rest of the hotel. But it didn't ruin our stay not at all.

A special praise to the front desk team and the male guest relation manager, whose name I forgot unfortunately. I ordered flowers for our anniversary and he sorted all out for me, got them delivered at the breakfast as surprise for my wife and helped with other requests around our stay. A big thumbs up for the super nice (I think Indian) employee that showed what great guest relations should be.

All in all, 5 stars and we wish we will come back one day!

Not worth the money -low service -not recommended

Watch out! Lots of not included : we made a reservation for 4 and when we arrived, we had only a room for 2. If we wanted to have 2 beds for our kids, we had to pay 85 dollars a day on top. But you have already paid the booking, you have no choice!
No activity proposed by the hotel.
Very expensive restaurants
Not much to see in Phu Quoc
Bad weather in summer : it rained all the time for 5 days
Phu Quoc is very dirty

Salinda resort in Phu Quoc Island

We stayed at Salinda Resort for 4 days 3 nights from July 23rd 2018 thru July 26th 2018. Everything was exceptionally perfect for us. From the time that they picked my family up from the airport to the time that we left the resort, we could not be any happier. The staffs were well trained and very pleasant to talk to. The resort was very cleaned and organized, the foods was excellent for us. The live music at night was very extraordinary. The next time we going to Phu Quoc, THIS IS THE RESORT! I highly recommended this resort to anyone. Again, thank you Salinda for a wonderful experience!
