Excellent Stay
Reviewed 7 hours ago

From the moment our taxi pulled into the hotel entrance this place impressed. Staff are fantastic from ground staff, cleaners, bar restaurants and pool, reception staff. Our room was lovely with a awesome view, comfy as bed and great bathroom. Grounds are awesome. great food at all the restaurants especially the pool bar/restaurant....loved our lunches there. Buffet breakfast was fantastic. They made the beach clean and inviting with plenty of sunbeds by the pool and on the beach. The only fault I have would be the main bar in the hotel looks a little tired and outdated compared to the rest of the hotel and would be nice if they had a regular happy hour like other resorts do. This hotel also has a great gym for a hotel. For us this would be the only place we would stay on the island. Beautiful stay.

The perfect hotel

For Salinda Resort 5 stars are just not enough. Spacious rooms, wonderfully decorated interiors, a luxury breakfast on a level we have not experienced so far, great pool and private beach area. But some points make this hotel the true pearl of Phu Quoc island:

- Sustainability in focus. No use of plastic straws, pens etc. the management is even working on skipping plastic water bottles in the future. The island (and this planet) need more of these dedicated leaders.

- Serene and calm environment. Despite all huge construction sites on the island, including tall hotel monstrosities, Salinda remains a super calm retreat. Beautifully landscaped and exquisite gardening. We recommend a sea view room to fully enjoy this beauty.

- Mind-reading staff. The huge amount of highly service-minded staff convincing with extremely polite, happy and professional behavior is probably the biggest asset of the hotel. Fully dedicated to create the perfect guest experience and lasting memories. Thanks to the team for making our honeymoon-days at Phu Quoc a truly amazing time!

Very comfortable stay

Hotel is less than 10 mins drive from the airport. Was served welcome drinks and cold towel upon arrival. Check in was quick. Stayed in a sea view deluxe room. Room has a balcony and a huge bed (most probably 2 super single mattresses joined together). Room comes with standing shower and the usual amenities. Daily breakfast selection was sufficient. Nice infinity pool, a pity the sea was too choppy and no swimming was allowed throughout my stay. Staff here were outstanding, very friendly and attentive. Chuc and her colleagues were all super attentive at breakfast. Received great travel advise from the Reception. All staff are a gem at this hotel.

Great Beach Break
Reviewed 5 days ago

We spent some down time on Phu Quoc island at Salinda Resort. From welcome to goodbye drinks our stay was fabulous. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, the hotel staff were all very helpful. We ate at a few of the hotel restaurants and the food was always excellent. The pizza at the Italian restaurant was great. The hotel also put on a beach/pool night grill which was amazing. The breakfast spread was also very interesting and the Vietnamese coffee is a must try! The only thing that I would mention was the beach itself was polluted with plastic waste, however the hotel staff did a good job of cleaning up the hotel’s section of the beach which was always clean on the shore for guests. Great location for a getaway.

All good for a 5-star hotel

I stayed here for 3 nights in April 2019. Everything was perfect. I don't have a single complaint.
All hotel staff nodded and greeted me with "Hello" or "Xin Chao" wherever they saw me. Room service folks always asked me, when they see my in the hallway, if I need more drinking water or new towels. As a standard at most hotels, you get 2 complementary bottles of drinking water, after that you drink from the minibar and pay for those out of your pocket. But this resort does not nitpick like that. They are generous and accommodating to their guests ... so if you need more drinking water, they provide more free of charge. Little things like this goes a long way.
The facility is very clean ... not a single leaf in the walkways or in the surrounding water fountains, although there are trees all around the facilities.
The front entrance can be small and easy to miss, but I think it's by design ...so it remains a little hidden gem right in the middle of the main part of town where all the restaurants are.
I can't think of anything negative about this place, so it's a great place... worthy of its 5-star rating.
