Paradise outside my of the city
Reviewed 1 day ago

Excellent customer service with a smile.
We would like to compliment Van, Chung, Pascal, Van and Tu for greeting us always courteously in the restaurants and being very informative.
Great place to wind down after travelling as the complex and beach are superb.
It is located 20 mins outside of the city so isolated but has all the amenities you would expect from a 5star hotel.
We ate in the restaurants and the quality and presentation was good and far better than our experience in the city.
We had the option to eat breakfast in the a-la-carte restaurant or the buffet restaurant.
Unfortunately we only found out by chance and this should be explained at checkin.

Perfect beachfront resort

This is a great place to come at the end of a trip to other parts of Vietnam or even other parts of Asia. A great place to unwind at the end of your holiday. It is an easy transfer from the airport and with large gardens and beautiful beach you feel instantly relaxed. I loved the Vietnamese restaurant overlooking the beach - the food was absolutely delicious. The beach club and pool are the perfect place to enjoy the day and then cocktails and bar snacks at the Saigon Bar as the sun comes down. Great beds - slept like a dream!

Beautiful property with downsides

The first impression of the resort is like paradise found with warm welcoming staff who seem committed to providing an excellent guest experience. From a strictly service standpoint, the staff did not fail. We stayed in a pool view villa with a design concept remarkably the same as the Lang Co.Banyan Tree resort; this held true right down to small design flaws such as oversized wash basins in the bathroom leaving very little counter space. However, one big difference is the villas do not offer any privacy which I guess can't be expected at this price point. Speaking of the price point, the majority of the guests during this busy holiday period were very unrefined which I attributed to the low room rates. There were swarms of people at breakfast who handled food they weren't putting on their plates, returning it to the trays available for other guests, and generally acted like they hadn't eaten in a long time. The resort is remote so the onsite restaurants were ideal but the food quality was lackluster at best. We ate at the Vietnamese restaurant one night for dinner, and after living in Vietnam for almost five years, I found the food uninspired and almost inedible. This was a very big surprise because Vietnamese food is some of the most delicious in the world and especially disappointing for the high cost at this restaurant; even the rice was bad. In the end, we would not visit this property again mainly because of the other guests and disappointing food quality. I would like to end this review on a positive note because the property itself is stunning, the beach perfect and the service levels and guest relations excellent. I'm confident future guests will not be disappointed as we tend to bit a bit more discerning than most and perhaps our standards too high.

I like it so much!

The resort located outside the busy city centre, and is very near the airport. Overall, the resort met all my expectations: friendly and helpful staff, a private beach, clean, nice view, etc. The hotel rooms are big and had everything we need. There are also a very large grass field and a variety of swimming pools (3) and restaurants for us to choose. The breakfast buffet is nice with lots of food. There are also lots of activities that could keep you busy for the whole day. I would really recommend staying at The Anam if you want a relaxing holiday with excellent service !

We have a good time when stay here. Just it take around 15 minutes from airport to resort. My room was so comfortable. The choice of three restaurants with great food,3 pools and very friendly staff made this a great place to stay.
Everything is perfect!
