Amazing family time at a Gorgeous resort

Kumarakom Lake Resort is all sorts of gorgeousness. We were there last week to celebrate a special occasion and we loved it. It was refreshing and relaxing. The boat ride in the evenings, the experiences such as mat weaving, pottery were so interesting for our 6 years old daughter and us as well. We enjoyed the dance performance while having dinner. The property itself is so green and makes for some amazing photo opportunities. Kavi, the very friendly and talented staff who as a great photographer and we managed to caputure some beautiful memories on camera. Overall a beautiful stay. Food was great too!

Could not have been better.

Wow! What can I say...Kumarakom Lake Resort will remain firmly etched on my memory for many years to come. Beautiful, relaxing, immaculate, serene, welcoming, delicious....the list goes on. We were away, without our three young children, for a much-needed recharge of the batteries. We couldn’t have asked for more. The food is sensational, the staff go above and beyond and the views of the back waters are just breathtaking. We spent a night on a houseboat, cruising the Keralan backwaters and loved every second of the peaceful tranquility that this part of the world offers - a real MUST for anyone considering visiting this resort.
I also had a 90 minute Ayurvedic massage but, in honesty, have had better massages and it’s not cheap...but that’s the only negative in a huge box of positives.

We will return, with our three young children one day - altho I imagine it won’t be quite as relaxing that time round!!
