Mini forest????
910vipin

It is surprisingly small, no animals, only models and statues of animals, it has a tree house, lots and lots of mosquitos and it is damn educational. It shows all the varieties of trees and vegetation, the guy there will talk more about it if you are interested, the areas accessible to public is really less and most of the forest is swampy and not accessible to people. Mostly if you are a green person, go for it.

See Kerala in this resort

Our Family stayed in 8 rooms from 1st to 3rd Nov 2019. If you want see Kerala at one shot, come to this resort. Guest were Welcomed with tender coconut water and in a local tradition which makes you feel that you are a VIP here. The ambiance was so good that all of us took a stroll to enjoy it on reaching the resort. Only then we took our rooms. Rooms were large and it definitely carries 5 star status. Throughout the property you may notice extensive beautiful wood work. Room Ceiling decorated with carved wood work reminds me of Florence hotel room which was almost similar.
It was simply adorable! The continental breakfast was awesome! You may also notice tasty local dishes! I specifically loved 'Kerala Sambar'. You will never forget your stay here and you are tempted to fill your mobile with full of photos of beautiful scenery in and around the Resort! I will never forget to mention the courteous staff. We hired resort's boat house for cruise with food. It's simply memorable!

In one sentence, I rate this resort:-
"I will go next year to this resort AGAIN".

One of the best in the world!

Stayed at this resort about 16/17 years ago and now. This is one of my most favourite resorts in the world. Beautifully maintained, serene, great food and outstanding service. Rooms are large, have private pool, open bathrooms and the entire place is made of wood, which makes it highly authentic Kerala resort. The dining hall is inspired by a king’s court and is done up in traditional Kerala way. One of the highlights is sunset boat ride, where an artist plays flute and another one on mridungam (traditional drum) or tabla while you watch sunset - it’s an unforgettable experience!

A must visit place for a relaxing indulgence.
