How to Get There
This is a beautiful, old, historic hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable and the staff was very helpful. The location is convenient to fourth street live, and downtown restaurants. Only caution is that it can be very loud when there is an outdoor concert on fourth street.
Great old hotel. Great history. Really great concierge. Easy walking access to everything Whiskey Row and 4th Street.
Highly recommend the stay. Only drawback is slow service at bar and restaurant, but sit back and relax. Enjoy the ambiance.
I love the ambiance and history of this beautiful old hotel in downtown Louisville. The service was excellent. The lobby is outstanding and the story about the Great Gatsby, Al Capone & ghost terrific.
