Great Care and Service

My husband and I were combining a business trip with a couple of days to ourselves. Clifton Clasby, Assistant Front Desk Mgr, straightened out our reservations to make sure we didn’t have to change rooms. It was hassle free and stress free. Just the way you want a vacation.

Thanks!

Thank you so much for your hospitality!!
Where do I begin.
I am vegan/gluten free and your hotel/employees went out of there way to make sure I had options.

Sandy who works in your restaurant was so kind and helpful with my food options. She's pleasant and makes you feel right at home.

Jonathan - Thank you so much for your help and going out of your way.

Jean - You rock !!!! That apple pie was awesome - There were no fruit options that day but Jean make sure I had fruit. It was excellent.

Greg - Thank you so much for helping me during lunch. You might not think it was a big deal but it was a big deal to me.

The chef on Monday/Tuesday 4/22/19 & 4/23/19 (lunch) - the food was delicious and you made the best vegan/vegetarian lunch

I travel quite a bit and this stay was just like my own home/room. Room was clean, professionally cleaned. Everything was perfect

Thank you again

Not A Good Visit

I am a Diamond Hilton Honors member, so I have high expectations.I typically don't leave low scoring reviews and try to be fair to the hotel and staff, but I had to be honest about this hotel. I stayed at this property in the past for a UK basketball game. I brought my family on this trip on our way to Louisville. The hotel valet was no where to be found, so I had to self park in a very large parking deck. The parking deck is a larger public deck that is not very clean or well lite. The front entrance where you come in from the valet or parking deck had a large cigarette ash tray next to the front door that was overflowing of cigarette buds. There was also trash around the entrance to the hotel.

The front desk person could have cared less that I was a Diamond Member. One of our rooms appeared to be an upgrade, but who knows. The rooms were not quiet. You could hear lots of hallway noise. There was some group at the hotel that was loud. My favorite part was the blue tape that was used to hold the room number to the wall for our mother's room. Classy!

The only redeeming value to this property is the restaurant staff. We ate breakfast and had a wonderful meal. The chef even helped bring my mother's plate back to the table to help her not spill anything. The entire restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. I'm not sure why the rest of the hotel.

Stay at another Hilton property in Lexington or stay at the Hyatt downtown. Stay anywhere else but this Hilton in Lexington.

Hilton Hotel disappoints
Reviewed 4 days ago

When choosing this hotel, I thought it would provide an exceptional experience. Unfortunately, the Hilton was a disappointment. Unfriendly staff upon arrival, concierge level has a lot of improvements to be made. The whole experience was very mediocre! Would not recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Comfortable, convenient, updated

This hotel is a great place to stay for a business trip. Rooms are well appointed, clean, and good-sized. The gym is well equipped for a few nights stay. The pool is too small for laps but fine for kids who want to swim.
The quality of the food from the breakfast menu was terrible however, especially for the price. I didn’t want the amount of food that the buffet offered so ordered an egg dish from the menu. The price was almost the same as the buffet and presentation and quality were unappetizing. The restaurant does not seem prepared for orders from the menu even though they offer it. Better to go elsewhere if you do not want the buffet.
