Wonderful hotel!

Stayed there for one night. Beautiful building! Nice room, lovely decoration. Great shower and good beds. Great staff. Private parking for hotel guests. Happy hour on their terrace with nice dishes to share. They do a brunch menu from breakfast till early afternoon. Discount vouchers at check-in. We did a brunch for breakfast, very good! We would have loved to stay some more nights! Recommendable hotel.

Not overly Impressed

Our first time to Kennebunkport. We were staying for 6 nights and picked the Kennebunkport Inn for its location. I have to say, the location is very convenient...steps for all stores and many restaurants. Our room was new updated, very nice and very small. The breakfast staff was absolutely the best. They were very friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were very good. The reason for not being overly impressed is besides the breakfast staff, the front desk staff was helpful when asked questions but not overly accommodating. We went to get coffee twice and had to ask for some to be made while the attendant was on her cell phone. We requested a refrigerator and were told they would do their best upon booking 3 months prior. The first night we were told that they were getting one from another location and we would receive it the next day. We never received a refrigerator or heard anything further. Staying a week a refrigerator would of helped with keeping our drinks cold in the 90 degree weather. One of the main reasons I would try another location is that there is no common outdoor space for guests. Both of the outdoor spaces are the restaurant and the tables always set accordingly. It would of been wonderful to have a common place to relax outdoors after a long fun day out.

Room is like a closet

We were booked in a standard Queen room for $450 per night. My walk in closet is larger. Had to stand on a chair to reach the wall air conditioner. The ironing board was under the bed! Had to hang over the bed to see the TV. If one person was sitting on the one chair in the room, the other had to sit on the bed, which was really a twin.
The window had a great view of the parking lot...and all this for $450 a night! On the positive side, the receptionist was wonderful. Very pleasant and accommodating. Apologized for us having to trek to the back of the inn and up a steep flight of stairs with our three bags. Definitely not worth the price for the accommodations!
