How to Get There
This is my first time to stay here for 2 nights. I impressed for room and beautiful private beach also good main pool view from my room. This property have alot of activities I never to bored.All assciates so nice such as Lobby, housekeeping pool bar.Thank you Khun Pik as Lobby lounge for great warm welcome and Khun James as bellman for grate information.I really to came back stay here.????????????
We had a lovely time for a family wedding at The Marriott. The beach front location to the pools were immaculate and ground floor rooms out to the pool were the best! Our kids loved the kids corner with slushies and fairy floss as well as the very well done Halloween night! I would definitely suggest having a wedding there as it was so well done, reception and food amazing. We were a large group of around 50 and most of us had a deal with massages and dinners included. The only thing i would say was that we couldn't get into use our massage vouchers as most people struggled to book in a free time with the spa - they said they were fully booked nearly for entire 8 nights. Finally i got in on my last day when someone cancelled and they only had one spa room in use and other people said the same thing. On Halloween night at the main restaurant which was nearly $50 a head and $25.00 for kids was struggling with the amount of people eating as most of the food area's were almost empty. Our room card stopped working at least once a day and we constantly had to go up to the front desk. Apart from that every thing was awesome. I think if the hotel are going to offer extra's in their deals they need to make sure they are staffed to book these things in. We did all try to book on the first day as suggested as well.
I would stay here again with a group but if on your own i may like to be closer to town for restaurants and shopping. You are isolated and the food in the resort can get expensive. Great happy hours that some other hotels we stayed at didn't have.
Location, facilities etc are important but what really makes a great experience is the quality of the service staffs. This time I was really touched by every little out of the way service delivered by the staffs from all departments.
We arrived much before the check in time and so our suite wasn’t free but the front desk team without having to ask for ensured we had a room to relax till our suite was available. Sirin, from the executive members team checked us in and took a picture of my partner and me as we came in to the room, the next day we saw the picture was in a frame on our table. A thoughtful gesture that made us feel special.
Breakfast was fantastic , can’t get better watching the sunset chilling at the little rum shack. Again bar staffs were very accommodating with our request on food we wanted , despite the wrong timing they made sure we got what we wanted. I call such gestures a perfect customer delight.
Now coming to one part where I would have expected more - the Spa! Why no sauna or jacuzzi? And why pay 500 Bhatt to use the steam when most hotels would have those facilities as part of the health club for free. And getting a appointment same day is almost impossible so minimum one day in advance booking for massage.
Nevertheless, the overall experience was great and yes we will definitely plan to be back again !
