How to Get There
Really loved it. It is a great place to be with family. Staff is amazing. Just need a few more bsby chairs at breakfast as it gets really full in the morning. Great views and great service . Food was also very nice
Our large group had a mix of 20 year olds and 50 year olds. The Amari was close enough for the younger group to get into the busy Patong area quickly but far enough away that it didn't infringe on the older groups relaxation. Note that the nightclubs and bars in Patong clog the entire bay and it is extremely noisy, busy and full of touts wanting your money.
Also be aware that even though the airport is not too far away from Patong, the traffic is horrendous at all times of day and night and it takes at least an hour to travel the distance.
We got in quite late to the hotel but the welcome was everything you would want, with peace and cool drinks of Lemongrass juice waiting for us all.
We stayed in the two bedroom suites on the hill side which were easily connected by golf buggies which ran up and down the hill all the time. There appear to be two sections to the resort, the older section down by the pools and restaurants and the newer apartments and suites up the hill. The hill side suites were very comfortable with a king bed in one room and twin beds in the second bedroom. Bottled water was delivered free every day as the tap water is not potable. Full kitchen facilities were well supplied.
Breakfast could be eaten at either the Rim Talay restaurant down near the beach and pools or up in the Coral Room on the hill side. We tried both. There was a larger selection in the larger Rim Talay restaurant but it was very busy. The Coral Room on the hillside still had a good selection of breakfasts but was much quieter. We settled on the quieter Coral Room for most days, but watch the weather as it was often very windy up on the hill.
We ate at La Gritta, the Italian restaurant, a couple of times for dinner which again was down near the beach side. Great pizza and good service. Not too expensive either which was a surprise and a nice selection of drinks.
The two pools were well situated and there were plenty of day beds for everyone. Pool towels were readily available and both drinks and food could be purchased to consume without leaving the area. In addition, there is a little beach which is easy to get to and the water was lovely, warm, clean and calm. Beware that we caught a Burmese man loitering on the beach and indulging in spying on the girls but when we advised security, they quickly scared him off. This was the only problem we had and the same thing could easily occur in any country.
Overall, our stay was very enjoyable. The staff were very attentive, the grounds were beautifully maintained and the rooms were very clean, cool and comfortable.
Well done Amari! We'll definitely be back some day.
We traveled in a big group and all of us fell in love with Amari Phuket. The property was beautiful and well maintained. All of the staffs were very helpful and friendly especially those worked at the restaurant during breakfast hours and housekeeping staffs. They greeted us every time they saw us and with those big nice smiles. Plenty of space by the pools and bars. A few of us walked to the Jetty and thought it was a such a cool spot. Down by the jetty, there was a small steps you could walk down to a nice little snorkeling spot.
Our room was clean, beautiful and had amazing ocean view. Breakfast was amazing with many options to choose from including Thai noodles and juice.
Great location to the beach and the main locations. Beautiful resort and friendly staff. Breakfast is a must do every morning unless you can’t because of an excursion or up to late from partying. The rest of the food at the hotel is over rated. One of the top hotels I’ve ever stayed at around this price range
Overall a brilliant hotel with good service and very good staff. In a great location.

Can't say anything bad regarding are stay.
