What a Weekend!
Reviewed 6 days ago

We spent the Weekend at Kappa. We stayed at a 2 bedroom Villa at the upper most level of the resort and it was wonderful! It was comfortable and nicely decorated. However, the best attribute of the place was the veranda with the breathtaking views of Sithonia and Mount Athos! If only we could sit there for ever! The beauty and the calmness we experienced was second to none. Great time we also had in the pool, which has a view of the bay and at the same time is under the pine trees that surround the resort. The villa was spotlessly clean and the staff was friendly and with a warm smile. Costas, the manager, was always there to answer questions and fulfill our needs and we thank him for that.
All in all, one of the best breaks we have ever had. We are surely coming back!

Relaxing break

We arrived earlier than expected and were given a free welcome drink on the terrace while they found our villa availability. Were taken to our villa “Electra 2” by golf cart and shown around. Everything appeared spotlessly clean and more than adequate for the two of us, with 2 bedroom, 2 fully fitted bathrooms, kitchen and lounge. We decided to go to the beach first and walked to reception for towels where we were asked if we’d like a lift, we said we’d walk back but it was hard going as the complex is built on a rather steep hill. Rest of holiday we stayed around our private pool which was very cold to get into but still lovely. Restaurant was very good food and excellent service ( we were half board so had less choice) wines were nice but expensive at €18-30 for a reasonable bottle. Breakfast was buffet style and you could order eggs fresh cooked which we both enjoyed. Christian appeared to be the bar manager and was always happy to chat and help, he was probably the outstanding staff member although all were friendly enough. Our main criticism would be the complex is extremely remote, unsuitable for children as most of the stairs, steps and pool area were not protected by handrails. We were there for 5 days, any longer would in our opinion require transportation.

Relaxing holiday!

This is a place for some serious relaxation. Lovely pools and private area of the beach. The restaurant has great food. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Only 2 minor issues. The Villa wasn't set up very well for self-catering so we had to ask for some additional things for the kitchen so we were able to cook meals. This wasn't an issue and was sorted very quickly. The website can be a little confusing which the photos of the villas being slightly mixed up, but we emailed them and asked to confirm exactly which we would be getting.

Relaxing holiday

Very nice tranquil place with excellent accommodation and private pool. Excellent air con and appliances although the €1.50 for a single nespresso coffee capsule is a rip off! The views are some what spoilt by three derelict villas right in front of the resort. All staff were friendly and polite and the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job of keeping the accommodation clean. Breakfast was ok but not much selection for the €15 price tag. A car is a necessity as there is nothing within walking distance which for us was a shame as you have to drive everywhere. Taxis are not readily available. The resorts beach was nice with free sun loungers and umbrellas and a bar service and snacks available. It is a pebble beach with rocks so make sure you have appropriate foot wear. Although it is advertised as a private beach it was mostly used by non hotel residents. The restaurant is good with tasty food and exceptional service, we particularly enjoyed the BBQ evening. The wine is however expensive and nearly €5 for a still bottle of water!! If you want a quiet relaxing holiday Kappa is for you however if you like to be able to walk to a local restaurant or bar then maybe go somewhere else.
