How to Get There
Had a fantastic week at Kappa Resort! Great accomodation, very friendly and service motivated staff, perfect restaurant, great villa’s with private swimming pool... in one word: awesome! Located in a quiet and beautiful area of the Island it is the perfect get-away!
Booked villa Iliahtis through James Villas, everything was as advertised. We were greeted at the resort by a very friendly and efficient receptionist who took us to the villa, which was very clean with a great swimming pool. Any problems were resolved immediately by the excellent and friendly staff, who went far beyond our expectations to make our holiday, even returning my ring which I had mislaid when packing to come home. I would definitely recommend this place.
Fabulous place, great staff, very clean, great swimmingpool. I would definitely recommend this place. Very friendly people everywhere. We really had a great stay at the beaches and restaurants in the neighbourhood
This was advertised through Secret Escapes as a Boutique Hotel with Gourmet Dining. When we arrived it was buffet with only a selection of 2 main courses. One was meatballs and the other was dried up pasta with no sauce. It looked disgusting. I complained to the manager and said the selection (or lack of it) was terrible. There was nothing I wanted to eat and I said I wasn't going to get any dinner! The food was cold and I have had better selections in a 3 star hotel. It was certainly not gourmet dining nor 5 star standard. Eventually he said I could have alacarte so I ordered the lamb chops and was served up with a plate of cold lamb chops with no potatoes or veg. It was disgusting. I have never been on holiday and lost weight!! Breakfast was the same with the eggs (only fried ones) that were cold and had obviously been sitting there for hours. Again there was no selection. No omelette station or any other option but cold food. The staff were lovely though and our villa was nice but the private pool and larger pool were both freezing so you could not go in swimming. There was advertised a nearby village with tavernas but this was non existant (probably a fake review). It was in the middle of nowhere, so a car would be essential. If you want a relaxing holiday eating terrible food then this is the place for you. Not worth the effort or the money. I would rate this a very bad 3 star/2 star hotel.
We went down to Kappa for a weekend once more and it was well worth it, yet again!
Our villa had an astonishing view of Toroneos Bay. Most of the time we could clearly make out mount Athos as well!
The villa was sparkling clean, with a modern decoration and our bedroom had a great balcony, with even greater views than at the pool level.
Staff was welcoming, friendly and always helpful at a moments notice.
All in all, Kappa is the No1 Destination for a relaxing weekend in Halkidiki!
