Kappa Resort is a stylish collection of villas and suites in Halkidiki, on the northeastern coast of mainland Greece. The resort’s location means you can make the most of Halkidiki peninsula’s considerable stunning natural beauty, whether you simply fancy reclining on the golden sands of the beach or hiking through the verdant forest.
The resort offers activities to suit all desires, from horse riding and scuba diving to wine tasting and hot air ballooning. Why not head out on a sailing cruise along the glimmering waters – the perfect way to get to know the Aegean coastline – or alternatively enjoy relaxing around the pool next to your exclusive villa or comfortable suite. If you manage to tear yourself away from your sun lounger, take a trip to the surrounding village of Paliouri, which is famous for its honey and olive oil – the ideal souvenir – and for ancient Greek ruins, which wait to be explored.
After a day lazing by the pool or exploring nearby historic sights, Kappa Resort’s restaurant is on hand to satisfy your appetite, serving up a gastronomic treat of gourmet Mediterranean dishes, alongside a selection of cocktails and wines. Then your luxurious suite or villa awaits you for a tranquil night’s sleep.
How to Get There
Service, standard, accomodation, cleaning and fascilities are all fantastic. If you want 5 star luxury without the pampering and panache. Subtle and great.
Private pool is being cleaned every morning. So is the villa/suite.
Family of four (kids’ age 2 and 5).
The apartments are very nice, spacious, very well equipped for cooking, with big terrace. The breakfast is very good, and served till late, and people are allowed to have peaceful breakfast even after the closing time. The beach is nice, though with pebbles. The only drawback is that the hotel is on a hill and you need to go up and down the hill to get to the beach, or call the hotel to get you with the golf car. There are no toilets and showers on the beach. The restaurant is pricey and off rather European than typical Greek food, but there are tavernas in the village nearby that are quite OK.
We are just bak from our holidays at Kappa Resort, August 2018. It was a lovely relaxing week. The views and position of the hotel are breath taking. The rooms are spacious and modern decorated. The hotel is located on the hill, but a shuttle service is offered frequently during the day with a very friendly driver, special thanks to Lorenco, really helpfull. The service and staff are lovely, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. We traveled to some other beaches, short driving distance, the beach of the hotel is not the best one. The pool is not so big, but clean and not crowded. Overal we had a lovely, relaxing holiday.
We were a group of 2 couples with 1 toddler 21 months old and 2 kids of 12 and 8 year old. Due to this we were very particular on what type of villa to book, how much outdoor space we d have for the kids to play and run freely and requested to be sent photos of the exact villa we would book.
We booked villa Iliachtis 801 and we were not dissapointed. The grass area was very big and the pool of a good size and we had a good view of the sea. If i would have to find some negatives was the fact that the rooms had hardly no storage space and closets. The groundfloor bedroom has a very small toilet and a tiny shower and there was no curtain at the shower and all the water splashed on the toilet etc.
Another thing that we were concerned of was the sea which is opposite the hotel.Having read other reviews we realised that its not a sandy beach and its full of stones and rocks. We emailed the hotel about this and they said that its not exaxtly like that and that they ve placed sags of sand to allow entrance in the water. However it was finally as discribed in other reviews and worst. We didnt spend a day at the hotel beach. This beach is not a representative of the beaches of Halkidiki!!! Try elsewhere!
Another negative factor was the ignorant girl at the reception.Though she was eager and willing to help she has no idea of Halkidiki whereabouts and nothing to suggest. One day we wanted to book sunbeds at a beach club and called the reception to ask for suggestions, which beach club is kids friendly, what food they serve etc.She had absolutely no idea , she said she has been to none and had to ask Costas the manager. Another night we asked about tavernas and she had no idea and in general she could give no travel tips whatsoever.
Also we thought that the manager got offended because we didnt book our day sailing trip through Kappa and in a way he told us off when he came to pick us up with the hotel mini van from the Mirragio port when we returned.
Tip.Try a day visit at Mirragio Hotel next to Kappa. They accept visitors for the day upon a fee and they have a lovely beach and lots of activities for kids
I stayed at the Kappa resort in August 2018 and overall I think we loved it. We stayed at apartment 112. The place is very nicely built, with great amenities, spacious, outstanding views, and peaceful location. Unfortunately, we ran into some minor problems with hot water, electricity and the oven, which affect your overall experience particularly when you have children, but the hotel managed to fix them. We stayed a little under one week and the kids loved the possibility to go to the beach or play in the swimming pool, shared by five families. The pool is not large (mind some wasps in the morning and mosquitoes in the afternoon) but it is a very nice break for the kids. The staff was very friendly and responsive and Lorenco was the best go-to-person for anything you need during a vacation. The location of the resort is quite favorable as you could easily travel to the nearby beaches of Krusos or the Crazy Land for entertainment. The hotel made available a cruise and it was just wonderful. Skipper Apostolis is friendly, full of information, and very service-oriented. He took us to one the the best water spots about 45 minutes away from the resort and we loved it. We usually traveled during the day and spent the afternoon and evening at the resort - either in the beach, or the pool, or having a drink at the very nice bar. One evening we happened to listen to some nice live music. The family agreed that we'd like to return to Kappa resort again when possible.
