How to Get There
Too too good, ambience, food, room, hospitality. Best place in Bangalore. 100% value for money. Superb stay cation package..Spa is mind blowing. Greenery is top notch. You never feel your in Bangalore
Food was tasty... But service part need to concentrate.
Staff and service is excellent, and this is my hotel in bangalore... Cheers!!!!
The ground floor rooms are okay but top floor rooms get heated in day time as it is double storey only. Rest the rooms are well furnished to give an heritage property feeling.....The over all ambience is good as lots of greenery is there all around..
A colleague recommended this hotel. It is near the city center and the traffic to destinations can be a challenge. I look forward to each stay. Staff at the restaurant such as Venkatesh, Mohan and Surendra know my dietary preferences. The beef in Blue Ginger us delightful. Concierge services including Singh are warm and thoughtful. Front desk staff are attentive. Hotel services differentiate this hotel from others. The room is classic with furniture from the colonial period. The hotel grounds are clean and serene, reminding me of Bali. Even yesterday I discovered new sauna facilities associated with the spa I enjoy. Business travel can mean separation from family, but I really enjoy my time here at Taj West End.
This is one of our favorite vacation spots in India - and its only a 45 minute drive from where we live. We love the feeling of peace and tranquility that comes over us each time we enter the main gate of Taj West End, instantly distancing ourselves from the chaos of the Bangalore streets.
The highlights for us are the jungle gardens that surround this historic hotel, the exotic food and setting at the Blue Ginger restaurant, and the amazing hotel staff that welcomes us back on each visit.
Each time we stay, we get to know a few new staff. On the next visit, we meet a few more. Now, whether we go for a meal or stay the night, so many of the staff remember us and they each go out of their way to welcome us and make our visit special.
Its the small, thoughtful gestures by staff that set this hotel experience apart from others: On one visit, the head gardener saw that we were admiring the plants and took us on a tour of the gardens and his nursery where the plants were grown. Another gardener saw us visiting the temple on the back side of the property and gave us a few flowers to give as an offering to the temple. One of the dining room staff gave me her phone charger to use during my stay because I left mine at home. The front desk and concierge staff are always kind, professional and most helpful: getting us settled and to our room, checking in with us throughout our stay, asking about our experience at check out, and always open to playing games with our young daughter. And a few days after our last stay, the duty manager called on our daughter's birthday to personally wish her a good day and coming year.
The rooms are very nice. They are quiet, clean, tastefully decorated, beds and pillows are very comfortable with excellent views of the garden, bathrooms modern and high quality - on par with other hotels of this class, and the best toiletries available (Forest Essentials).
But its not the quality of the rooms that keep us coming back - its the overall experience of the people, place, and food. Don't just take my word - try it out for yourself!
