Service at its best
Reviewed 1 day ago

From the first minute we arrived, we were amazed at the fantastic standard of service at the Waldorf Astoria. George and Adnan the Doormen always greeted us with a beautiful smile, always cheerful and helpful. The check -in counter service was very accomodating as we were staying an extra night and they quickly found us a great room that was quiet and very spacious. Allessandro was our personal concierge and he must have been trained by the best. Exceptional service with a smile. Whatever we needed was supplied within minutes.
The variety and quality of the food at breakfast was astounding , even by Israeli breakfast standards. The staff were very conscientious and highly trained, always friendly and polite. We had a few drinks at the bar and enjoyed speaking to the barman who was worldly and very professional.
As mentioned the hotel is perfectly and conveniently situated to walk to the main attractions in Jerusalem, the Mamila Mall and a quick walk to Ben Yehuda St. The concierge was very helpful and we loved his suggestions for restaurants. They were spot on for my dietary requirements. One of his suggestions was to walk up to The Station, about a 15 minute walk. There are funky, very good small restaurants, live bands and great craft stalls all in this old station area.

We did pop into the two other main hotels that are in the same price range and we were very happy to have chosen this hotel.

the sevice is too little for the astronomic price

rooms are nice spacious, but staff don't know how clean for a five star hotel.
surprised that they charge per person not per room
the breakfast was as good as any no name hotel.
location is good, near kotel

Convenient lovely hotel

This hotel welcomes you with one of the most beautiful orchid displays that I have seen in a large open lobby. The staff were gracious and most helpful. The rooms were very nice and quiet even though on a street side. The breakfast buffet was extensive and could’ve supplemented with special items from the kitchen.

High class hotel

We stayed for 1 night for a short break. The hotel is beautifully designed, spacious room with an amazing bathroom! The breakfast was one of the best I have had in Jerusalem. A really high class hotel. Only one area that needs improvement, the service in the lobby.

Luxury in Jerusalem...

I stayed here for five days and enjoyed almost all of my stay. I didn’t give five stars because I think the housekeeping was spotty. Some days didn’t get turndown service and cleaning was just ok. All in all my stay was pleasant. Aaron the waiter at breakfast was terrific (and so was the breakfast), George the doorman was always smiling and the location couldn’t have been better. I would definitely stay here again.
