A typical Group Hotel
Reviewed 24 hours ago

The Leonardo Moria Classic Hotel in Jerusalem is one of several in Jerusalem in the Leonardo chain. This hotel is suitable for large groups and in our case with nearly 100 guests in the group, we were well looked after. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the food was the typical buffet style with a good choice. The hotel is well located an easy 15 minute walk from the Old City of Jerusalem.

Short stay on the way

Although 120 of my friends enjoyed the place for a week, i used it only for one night. Reasonnable size bedroom, bathroom and separated toilets (in the room but not in the bathroom). 2 windows bringing nice light in the room, comfortable double bed.
The food, the usual buffet of such large places, was nice, tasty and have enough variety not to get bored too easily. The conference facility, although down below (next to a nice synagog by the way), was proper for a large group. A good place, with large parkings for the numerous coaching carrying significant groups all around the country. 20 min walk to the old city, 5 min walk to the tram. Good location !

Great base from which to experience Jerusalem

I returned to Israel for the first time in 30 years, for a 10-day tour with friends. The climax of our time was several days in Jerusalem, and we stayed at the St. George Street iteration of the Leonardo Hotel. I shared a two-twin room with a tour mate, and the hotel provided our breakfasts and dinners. Our fifth-floor room had adequate wi-fi service, fully functional bathtub and shower, a separate WC room, reasonable closet space, an operable thermostat. Like other Israeli facilities, no washcloths :-). The hotel has a well-equipped exercise room, several fine conference rooms, a large dining room with a wide variety of quality foods morning and evening, a small bar/lounge on the main floor, a swimming pool, and a capable and responsive staff. My roommate found the self-serve iron on our floor left stains on his garment. I had the hotel do a bit of laundry, and the work was prompt and effective. The hotel has a safe location with relatively easy access to the Old City and many historical sites, and to Jerusalem's light rail and bus services. Recent reviews I've read have been very enthusiastic; my own experience is more like 'fully acceptable' - the price and location were a good value, and everything and everyone associated with the Leonardo Hotel was 'beseder'.

Highly recommend! Just arrived, but the people have been very nice and attentive. Food is also good and they have a lot of options. In addition, the Conference rooms are big and comfortable. It’s Sababa.

Best coffee ever!!!

Such friendly service and very helpful not to mention the coffee was delicious. They also had a nice selection of teas and the hot chocolate was yummy. I would definitely come back here for anything on the menu
