Wagyu Strip Steak

My wife and I visited this inn (:PSI") in the off-season. But when we called for a 6 PM reservation, we were told the first one was not available until 7:45 PM. I am so glad we took it. The Inn gets high mention in guidebooks for "Romantic." I can only say physically the lighting was subdued, each table had a rose and candle, and the wait staff was well-schooled. Tables were quietly and expertly cleared. Our main server, Megan, was well-schooled and attentive. She apologized one menu special was done, but in its place a Wagyu strip steak was offered. She thoughtfully gave the price -- about $55. I ordered it. It was magical. I have had prime meat, dry and otherwise aged. In my 70 years I have never had such a delicious piece of beef. My wife ordered Sottish salmon, for which PSI is justly renowned. She found it exquisite. Pear sorbet was also delicious. It is fine dining, and I must say well worth it.

Great dining and superior service We love it and the hangar steak is to die for - our waiter Chris was as good and it gets. Very friendly and knowledgeable we have eaten here often and are proud to invite friends to join us

Room 4. Beautiful room with a fabulous bathroom with double shower and soaking tub. We were there this week and the Christmas decorations were so tasteful and gorgeous. Had wine and cheese in front of one of the gas fireplaces. Ambiance is peaceful and classy. Would definitely go back. Reservations must be made in advance. Oceanfront property

Just a great place for dinner in Cape May. The building, ambiance, staff, service - all wonderful. The inn offers a great menu with knowledgeable, friendly, and informative wait staff. On each visit the food was excellent. It is also BYO, so you can bring your wine of choice. Put this on your restaurant list on any visit to Cape May.

I brought my husband here for his birthday last summer. It so happened that it was restaurant week as well so I planned in advance to make reservations at this Fantastic Establishment! They seated us right away and all of the servers greeted my husband Happy Birthday. The food was all beautifully presented and delicious. It’s a BYOB but I forgot to bring a bottle and it was nice that they served wine there too. The ambience was lovely and the piano player played Happy Birthday when they served our dessert. We have reservations for Restaurant weekend in November and my sister and her husband will be joining us. Can’t wait for another Excellent meal!!!
