Was every bit as good as advertised. Pricey for me but certainly worth every penny. Fabulous place. Best in Cape May.

Lots of great restaurants in CM but this one has everything. Great food...Great service...Great ambience!
I think I'll recommend it.

NJ residents go to Cape May in May or the Fall when the out of staters stay home and the rates for rooms drop dramatically. This May two couples took the drive and stayed at a beautiful Inn directly across from the beach. 100 year old mansion that has been updated and makes for a great mini vacation. Zagat rated restaurant on premise provides American breakfast included in your stay. Dinner is amazing with pre-fixed menu's starting at $40 per head to $110 per couple to A La Carte. BYOB or local winery wines can be purchased. Parking on site. We will definitely be back.

I had the pleasure of getting married there in 2008! Beautiful hotel, great food, great location. I have been back several times since then and it's still an amazing place to visit. The beach is beautiful & there is some fun places to shop.

Beautiful rooms coupled with a 4star kitchen makes this place a great place for fun. Beach across the street, within walking of many Victorian homes and the shopping area. Highly recommend this place.

My bride and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night getaway for a pre Valentine's weekend.

The Inn has a perfect beach front location down on the northern end of Beach street just close enough to the main action at the Washington Mall and far enough away to suggest you are in another world. We had a third floor room (A lot of steps to climb) overlooking the beach and Atlantic ocean with a gas fireplace which added to the coziness of our abode.

The PSI exudes a natural charm and elegance unmatched in Cape May. The decor is impeccable with white linen table cloths in the dining room and tastefully appointed furnishings throughout the Inn. We had enjoyed dinner there before and were anticipating another terrific experience. We were not disappointed. Favorites were the Gnocchi and risotto. Breakfast which comes with the room was very, very good. Good coffee, eggs, bacon and sausage. My only complaint is that both mornings the breakfast potatoes were dried out and inedible. Service was excellent at dinner and both mornings. Breakfast is served on a sunny porch which just added to the ambience of our stay.

My bride and I were put off by the young woman who "greeted" us at the reception stand when we first arrived. I put greeted in scare quotes because her manner was anything but gracious. Hopefully it was an off day for her.

All in all the clear first choice for staying in Cape May.
